If you don't mind me asking, why are you unwanted in the first place?
If you feel like your being ignored, make an effort to make yourself visible. Do things that people would be amazed by. If it's a really bad situation maybe find some new friends or hang out with people who will accept you and make you feel important.
Simply put, you need to put effort into changing that feeling/view on yourself.
No one just simply feels happiness and acceptance by doing nothing and just expecting these things to come along. That'd be far too easy. You need to just go out there with a positive outlook and change it for yourself. No one is going to change it for you.
It may be blunt, but I've dealt with this with others and myself. It's the only way, you just need to take action. How do you stop feeling unwanted? Take action, don't sit around pondering, and just go and change that feeling, there's no easy way out.
I wish I had that answer as well. I severe depression. Alot of people are joking on here with their answers and Its not funny if you go through what I and many people go through. It hurts so bad when a person feels unwanted, and lost and alone. That is pretty much how I feel all the time cause of my Severe Depression and Anxiety Disorder.
Like I said, I wish I had the answer too, I hope we both find the answer that will make us feel better.
