I didn't contribute anything to our group project and I feel horrid! Help?

About 2 weeks a go, we had a project assigned. I am in a group of four. Basically, I asked if we could meet up after school, but they couldn't do it on the days they could, so we didn't. Next thing I know, the first draft was due two days ago, and one of the group members took care of anything. I thank her, but feel a little upset since I couldn't do anything. Now I feel terrible! I asked them if perhaps I could at least take care of the introduction and conclusion and if I could do some minor twerks here and there but that's not enough. Everything I do seems to be wrong. I tried editing some part of the script for the project but that's not enough and they told me it wasn't enough.

Hmm well... I mean not much can be done now, other than to try do your bit and get that group grade.

At least you're trying to make up for it. Just keep trying to show that you are making an effort so they can't be too bitter about the result in the end.

Normally in group projects I do for uni we assign ourselves roles, that way we know what we are doing, and the lecturer knows who did what, that way the group is fair as the workload is distributed from the start.

and if all else fails...

buy them food or make some cookies as a big thank you for them taking the reins on the assignment. Groups tend to forgive when a lunch shout is involved x)
