That depends on what kind of weird.
There is the definition that is used by the population of normal teenagers who think altering their face in an instagram photo, or going to school in their pajamas actually makes them stand out. That's little more than normal people who think they stand out as weird every time they do something that everyone else wants to do but doesn't do often.
Then you have true weird, like a home schooled girl who obsessively collects the shells of historical military ammunition and displays them proudly as if they were the coolest thing ever, or someone who has dead spider in her room named after a British King, or who has a disorder (a real one, not a lol I arranged my pencils, I'm so OCD) who might break down crying because something disrupted their daily schedule.
There is nothing at all wrong, or even unusual about the slang use of the term weird, making it not weird at all. Being truly weird could mean you need help, and isn't awesome at all.
