9. A Real Hero by College. I already know it was about an American pilot who saved a lot of lives but I think it can be for anyone who has done something heroic. Firefighters.... doctors... etc. It could even be about parents who are there for their kids and they come off as heroes to the kid growing up.

-Are you kidding? I've had this stuck in my brain ever since I first heard it with my ex-bestfriend, Andy! I sing it in the shower almost every time. It's basically a memory every day.

-I was once as hollow as a tree stuck in the cold of winter, at least until he found me and saved me from myself. At first, I lied to myself as we played our games, as he would lay awake talking me through my problems, proving himself a handsome soul. I'd say to myself that I didn't feel, that I still lack worth. Such lies. He was my savior, my adventure, my Hero. Yet, here I lay, broken and confused in an attempt at my own brittle life. He held me in his arms, and I wish I wouldn't have tried to lie to myself, to prove that I was empty enough to do this.
