Have you heard the news?

Some of you may know, either because you've seen my post on the random wall, or because you follow the news.
The Japanese parliament voted, and made the decision to allow the Japanese military to fight in oversees wars. This is going to be a harsh wake-up call to the Japanese, who, even now, have often been inclined to pretend foreign problems either didn't exists, or don't effect them.

So I suppose I should get to the question, go ahead and answer one or both.
1. What do you think about war, particularly the war on terror.
2. What do you think will become of this, will Japan be changed forever?
