How do u get yourself to fall asleep?

I usually just lie awake creating fanfics in my head until I fall asleep. But on bad nights I usually just give up and derp across the web til the wee hours of the morning.

Read manga.

I stay up until Im in the mood and energy to sleep easily, then I generally just curl up on my bed and think about things until I fall asleep.

I read a book, makes my eyes tired.

In order to fall asleep I try not to fall asleep. Works every time.

You see, I take a rag, then I take this thing called "chloroform" and put it on the rag. Then I get all snuggly in my blankets and press the rag against my nose.
Works pretty well.
Except the headaches in the morning. That ain't good.

what i like to do is i like to get a mattress, put sheets on it, use a pillow for my head to rest on and a blanket to cover my body. when im all set i just close my eyes and lay there. What really helps is dreaming

I either scheme for my rulership over the planet, or fantasize about being caught up in some situation where it would be morally acceptable for me to beat a person to death.
