What sort of bad habit you hope to eliminate?

I have a few unfortunately. One is being super critical needlessly or not knowing when to have tact. Needless to say I've embarrassed myself several times due to these issues I hope to remedy and be a better person eventually.

My tendency to say no to people or come up with an excuse when they want to go out somewhere with me.

I scream at myself on the inside to say yes to these people but in reality I say no and just hide away :v

So I wanna stop that habit I guess lel.

There are probably a lot but tbh if there was just one itd probably be my hair plucking. There are a lot of others Im working on already and ones that I dont want to share publically, but honestly most of the others, even the personality based habits, seem to be easier to break than the "habit" that is Trich XD

Ya I get ya. There's some I wouldn't mention publicly either so I mentioned ones I didn't mind.

I actually just developed a habit of plucking out my hair over the summer or so. I've found that wearing braids keeps me from it.

Letting people persuade me to give them stuff, especially if I hate/dislike them.

Embarrassing myself.

EDIT: Belittling myself from my past mistakes, making excuses (especially lame ones), putting off stuff I wanna buy, my timidity when it comes to asking people for something, my bad communication skills).

No?
Well then, I suppose I need to break the habit of being lazy as all hell. Because I'm lazy.
I need to leave my house more often, too.

There are few but mostly Overthinking. Sometimes simple is best. Depending on the situation, you need to adapt accordingly and some cases require a quicker course of action !!!!

Learning to say no to people. Whether it's taking someone's shift at work or hanging out with someone, I really don't know how to say "No, I need a mental health break from people". I've almost had breakdowns from this in the past, but I just don't know how to word it. At work I feel like a lazy and all-around bad employee if I don't take someone's shift when I'm able to, and I don't really care for interacting with people unless I'm super close to them so hanging out with people I just met at school is generally a no, but I don't know how to say that without hurting their feelings - I can't help it if I honestly don't wish to be around someone.

I could list off all of my odd, possibly OCD tendencies, but I'll keep it to a few.

-I should probably stop flipping out when a door that shouldn't be open (there are only 3 in my house that can be open at any given time) is open
-Or when I or a person around me steps on a crack in the sidewalk, two different tiles/floorboards at the same time or if they're stepping on two different colors.
-Fiddling with my hair and pulling it out.

As for the regular ones....
-Try to go to sleep at a decent hour.
-Don't start my homework at 9:00 pm when I have to shower and still get to bed in time for me to attempt to wake up by 7:15
-Try not to wake up at 7:30
-Get to school on time

Just realized how those last 3 are partially because I can't do something at (random example) 8:47. I would have to wait until, at the earliest, 8:50. And the last one is also because of those stupid cracks in the sidewalk everywhere. Stupid large cities.

Oh I do the same thing with time, too. If I'm planning to do something at 8:35 and I miss it, I usually have to wait until 8:40 or 8:45 to try again (unless it's really urgent).
