I think most of them are kind of idiots to be honest. There's alot of tumblr feminist who advocate female superiority rather than gender equality. So the second I hear/see "tumblr feminism" I already have a bit of disdain for them. They are also the people who think somehow fanservice in media is sexist when they wouldn't even say the same if the media was female orientated.

I personally find erotic art to be really enjoyable but I'll be assumed to be a misogynistic pig for liking it by alot of extreme feminists on there. For whatever reason in my experience and from I have heard. Tumblr feminism is synonymous with special snowflake syndrome and they hardly do anything worth while to fix an issue but rather bitch behind a keyboard and then cry when their pleas fall on deaf ears. I have this same reaction to sjws. I believe in gender equality but I'll never label myself a feminist because of certain people who have given me a certain distaste for the word in general. Like they will bitch about everything known to man. It's just petty and infantile. I understand what some are trying to get across but most are doing it int he most socially unacceptable way in existence.

Basically. These are the women who fight for female empowerment while at the same time hiding behind a ridiculous victim complex...

They're not feminists. They're radical misandrists that call themselves "feminists", giving real feminism a bad name. They're a bunch of man hating angry cunts.

I really have nothing else to say other than that I hate them. I could go into a whole rant about this but I don't really feel like it; I doubt the word limit for answers could handle it anyways. The movement is too hypocritical and lacking self-awareness for words.
And if the feminists saw this they'd be quick to say something like, "oh you poor thing you were brainwashed by the patriarchy." Or even worse, "you just want to get in someone's pants." Like alright my dudes, if you say so. *Shrug*

My opinion is that these edgy 15 year olds DEFINITELY have something worthwhile to say that we should all pay attention to. We should hold them up as representative of mainstream feminist thought - nay, the entirety of mainstream left-wing thought - and lament how 'extreme' it is now and how 'feminists are the real sexists!!', ignoring actual feminists like Jessica Valenti, Jill Filipovic, Emma Watson, Jennifer Pozner, Benazir Bhutto, or Malala Yousefzai. Feminism certainly doesn't just mean believing in equality for women. Nup.

Anyway. It's easy to get caught up with these '-isms'. At the end of the day, people that identify as 'feminists' and/or 'egalitarians' want the same things: a world where all people are treated equally, regardless of gender or circumstance.

Oh it's fine. i am glad you weren't trying to assign me a label. I can see that egalitarianism could underlie/inform feminism. It makes sense really. This is also true not everyone will agree with everyone's beliefs, which is okay everyone should want to work together to make a truly fair world. "Anyway. I wholeheartedly agree with you.

The same batch of fumbfucks who are trying to tell me that I'm a trans man because I have manly traits. Apparently they've never heard of a tomboy. They're a bunch of fumbfucks who don't care about social justice, they only care about their liberal elitism and trying to be better than everyone else
