What is the gender of Winnie-the-Pooh?

Winnie the Pooh is male, literally every source on the internet says so. People here need to do some fucking fact checking

Funny enough my family and I was talking about that recently...apparently she is a chick? I thought all of this time winnie was a dude but apparently they aren't but don't quote me on that.

I actually could see how Pooh could be a girl in the original language. But I grew up with the Latvian translation where Pooh was clearly defined as a male and the name also ended with the masculine apex, sooo... no. For me Winnie the Pooh will always be a he.
