2024 is about to come to a close in less than 2 weeks from now, and with the holidays officially upon us, it's time to sit back and take a look at the ride we've had this year, especially when it comes to anime. and as someone who just recently got back into manga and anime (a little over a year ago, honestly), i've been able to catch up with quite a few new releases and old classics throughout 2024 that reminded me of how great Japan and its entertainment industry can really be for the rest of the world. sure, like with any other country, Japan also has its own stinkers and letdowns, there's no denying that. but i just felt like i wanted to make a little quickie, listing off the anime that impressed me the most this year. the ones that have stayed with me since the time i first watched 'em. you might agree, you might disagree, it's okay eitherway as long as we're civil and chill about it, and without further-a-do: here are my personal top 10 anime of 2024:

2) Dungeon Meshi
