You and Ray had been bestfriends since you were about 9 years old. You guys always did everything together and he always made sure that you and him kept in contact when he went on tours. Being friends with someone for 9 years is such a long time and its kind of hard for you not to catch feelings for that person. Well, thats exactly what you did. Even though you were scared to tell him, you’ve always liked Ray from day one but you figured that you were’nt “his type”. It was a couple days after they finished the #1 Girl Tour and you and Ray were at your house alone catching up on some things…
Ray: yea but the tour was amazing..
YN: Im glad you had fun…i missed you though.
Ray: *begins to poke* Aww you missed he. He smiles that adorable perfect smile that he has. Your heart melts a little.
YN: Ok but you knoww you missed me too. You say hoping that he did.
Ray: Yea i did. I missed talking to you about stuff… He looks at you, his eyes focusing on yours.
YN: I know. we used to talk a lot.
Ray: You know we’ve been friends for about 6 years right?
YN: Yea.
You begin to get anxious, thinking hes about to ask you out.
Ray: Have you ever had feeling for me YN.? Since we’ve been friends for such a long time now…
You didnt know what to say. you were scared to tell him how you really felt but you wanted to tell him at the same time.
YN: naww. You were always a bestfriend to me…thats it.
You sigh to yourself wishing you wouldve just told him.
Ray: Aw. well thats good.
YN: Huh?
Ray: Thats what i wanted to talk to you about.
YN: Well im here now so..lets talk.!
Ray: Well, theres this girl…
Before he could finish the sentence, your heart dropped. You never thought he would actually start cathing feelings for a girl even though it was bound to happen.
Ray: And she’s so gorgeous and cool but im scared to ask her out. what should i do.?
YN: You should just tell her how you feel.
You didnt want to tell him not to tell her because he might start getting suspicious of your feelings.
Ray: yea but what if she says no?
YN: Dont think like that. tell her whenever you have the chance because if you dont…youre gonna regret it a lot.
You look down, trying to hide the fact that you were sad.
Ray: youre right. Ima call her right now.
He gets up and kisses your cheek, thanking you as he walks into the bathroom to make the call. You just lay on your bed, wanting to cry yourself to sleep but you dont want Ray to see you so you just play games on your phone, trying to get your mind off of everything.
Ray finally comes out of the bathroom with a sad look on his face. You tried your hardest not to put a smile on your face because you realized that you might stillhave a chance with Ray. He sits next to you on the bed.
YN: So…what happened?
Ray: I cant explain my feelings right now….*he looks the other way*
You sit up. rubbing his back.
YN: Its ok. there are a lot of better girls out there for you Ray.
Ray: I know. I just found me one too.
He turned around with the biggest smile on his face. You were a bit confused.
YN: I dont get it…
Ray: She said yes.! I just wanted to mess with you.
He laughs and begins to dance around the room in excitement. You couldnt do anything but sit there. You didnt move an inch. You were so ready to cry but you knew you had to keep it together…atleast for Ray. No matter how happy he looked, you just couldnt be happy for him. Your feelings for him were so strong, almost like love. But it couldnt have been love…right.? You just needed to be alone so you went to the bathroom and locked the door. You stood in the mirror looking at yourself as you begin to cry.
YN: I just helped the boy i love get a girlfriend…..
