I skim read that, it wasn't that bad, better that Twilight by far, but not the greatest novel I've read.

I've only read the first but I can't wait to read the next. There is also a tv show based on the books now) ~And There is the Blue Bloods Series by Melissa De La Cruz (lol I don't like this series very much but it is a vampire series and you might enjoy it.)

But I would also suggest he Southern Vampire Novels by Charlaine Harris. Those are the one True Blood is based on. And House of Night Series by P.C. Cast and Kristen Cast.
