Jacob's POV

All was quiet in the house at this very momment. Nessie was asleep in the room upstairs that she was set up in. Blondie and Emmett went hunting and Alice and Jasper went with them. Bella and Edward were at their house. Carlisle was in his study as Esme was in the kitchen cooking. I was in the front room waiting nervously for Nessie to wake up. Carlisle announced earlier that the babies could come any day now so I was becoming anxious.

"Jacob? " Carlisle called. "Can I speak with you for a minute?"

"Uh, ya." I answered nervously as I bound up the stairs into his office.

"Sit down, please." he gestured to a seat on the other side of his desk when I walked in. Shakily I sat down in the chair.

"I don't have any good news..." he started slowly. I was starting to get impatient I just wanted him to tell me and get it over with.

I sat and listened as he continued. "There is a chance the babies may not survive "

I instantly got nauceous. "What? First Nessie now the babies. No, no. I will not loose all three of them, I will not loose any of them." I said trying not to shed tears.

"I understand this is a lot to take in and I will do all that it takes to save all of them, but there is more of a chance that Nessie will not make it than the babies. Nessie will be giving birth to two babies of three different, uh, types. Human, vampire, and werewolf. The babies may live as they are much stronger than Renesmee."

"No, I won't loose Ness or the babies." I was in denial.

"Im sorry Jacob." was all he said then left the room. Even as much as I tried not to cry I felt tears streaming my face and I was not able to stop them.

And then my fear became reality right there in the house as I heard Renesmee scream my name.

"JACOB!" her voice was a fearful sound. She was obviously frightened.

I got up right away and ran into the room. Carlisle was already there attaching things to her as she thrashed around and screamed.

"Ness!" I yelled over her frantic screams as I grabbed her hand. "Ness, what's wrong? What hurts? Are you okay?" the questions kept flowing out of my mouth.

"Jacob! Please don't leave me!" she yelled and then the screams died as her eyes slowly shut.

"Renesmee!" I yelled. More tears streaming my face.

"Jacob, you must be calm. She just passed out. The pain is becoming to much for her. The babies are on there way. Please help me deliver them so we can help Nessie." Carlisle said calmly as he started to prepare for what looked like surgery.

I didint know what to do; I didn't know what to say; I didn't even know if I could move. I stood next to Nessie with a pleading look for her to open her eyes and show me that she as okay. Carlisle kept looking at me but kept working and preparing for what he was going to do. I was so scared at this point and I didn't have any clue what to do.
