Since he works really hard, his determination caiuses him to have a lot of focus and concentration on himself. Forgetting the other things in life, working real hard day and night trying to be the best. I can't say for sure about it, cause the author never showed a side of him resembling that. Just cause the authors don't show it, doesn' t mean he doesn't do it. They often show the charectors brushing, eating or any of the hygienal practices, but that doesn't mean they don't do that. So it can go either way
