I came across an article written about how to motivate yourself to revise and it actually worked!
It helped me a lot and I thought I'd share it with all you guys.
My friend had her GCSE grades predicted A*'s and A's but she just couldn't be bothered to revise and she came out with C's and D's.
I thought this might happen to me because I was feeling hopeless and just couldn't bring myself to revise. I found this article then tried it out and it actually helped me to revise. I hope this helps you all!xxx -

Draw a seesaw or just put an arrow in between. On one side put down all the obstacles that is stopping you from doing your revision on mine I wrote Loss of TV, browsing, relaxation and comfort that's all I could think of. On the other side put all the rewards and things you will get from revising on mine I put respect, prove people wrong, the power of going to a uni of my choice, less stress on exam days, have no regrets in the future and to be so happy on results day, self achievement, self fulfilment I had so much more as well but we'll be here all day.

When your conscience is telling you to revise and you don't want to look at it because the point I'm trying to get across is that on the good side the seesaw completely outweighed the other side, just by looking at it I could see the obstacles where nothing compared to the things I would be gaining which I wanted so badly. So no matter what I was doing, looking at it would make me want to revise because it made me realise that revision is such a small price to pay the rewards you would definitely be able to get.

Always remember when you revise don't set yourself a large chunk to do because you will easily get demotivated, do something small or something you know you can do comfortably. Also try to make sure you're in a lit room with no distractions. When you can feel yourself starting to get tired don't force it, just take a break and maybe watch an episode on TV, but make sure you go back to finishing your revision.

I'm a senior now and I've had an abysmal year so far. But the good thing is that it's almost ending, and I'm so excited about it.

Here are the things that have been aggravating my senior year:

1. Too much pressure, and no time for personal stuff. (The older we get, the more work we have to do.)
2. It goes too fast. (The first day of senior year feels like far far away.)
3. Lot of bullies. (High school students are not supposed to bully.)
4. My bus driver, Ms. Michelle, is horrible. I have to wake up at 7:15, go on a very long route, and get to school very late.
5. Lot of kids are making annoying...

It all started that day. I was then in third grade, and I got on my computer, unaware. Then I came across a game of some language that I couldn’t understand then. But when I read the link to the game, I realized that it was a Korean game, so I looked up the Korean alphabet.
But all of a sudden, Dad burst into my room and asked me, “Can you learn Japanese?”
So I looked up the Japanese language, and the first thing I searched was the alphabet. The first thing I saw was that Japanese had different sets of alphabets, but I didn’t know their names yet. I just skimmed the alphabets.
But one...

It's the year that many people are excited for, but for me, it wasn't. Rather, I didn't enjoy it much, because many things didn't go the way I wanted then.
So here's how it all started.
The week before the first day, we went to my school to get my schedule. I was thinking of being in all regular classes, unlike the earlier years. Then we had to go for my shots, and it hurt, unlike other years. And then came the first day. I got my schedule, and it had all AP classes, so I asked my counselors to change my schedule.
When I got my schedule changed, I got moved from A lunch to C lunch. A lunch was...
