In a parallel universe similar to ours, technology has advanced extraordinarily far in the future, and so has the tension between other countries. Wars have erupted across the earth, and many people have either tried to win the war, or tried to stop it. One of the people who want a little of both is named Giffard Murton, a scientist of his own, who found a way to capture and seal "Aura", a substance that was once thought of as unreal and fake, that is created from Karma and emotions from a living creature. Giffard has used this source only because he was at his wit's end, spending days awake, studying and trying to create a machine that would be able to win and end the many wars that were currently in effect, and stop the planet from being ravaged. He was amazed at the fact that the aura was able to give machines power, but only with the help of the capsule that the aura was trapped in. The energy was the professors own, and because of his good deeds, the capsule radiated blue, and the machine he was testing powered on. Giffard exclaimed, and realized all he needed to to now was use his astounding mastery of robotics to create a powerful humanoid warrior, and so he did. The robot was twice as large as a full-grown man, and had armor the strength of a tank. His weapons were machine guns from his shoulders, jet packs on the bottom of his soles, and an even larger arsenal packed inside of him that most armada's would be jealous of.                                     One day, after another victory, Giffard and other members of the army were cleaning and fixing up the machine. But Giffard noticed something exceedingly strange. His creation somehow looked upset, even though it had no face, only eyes. It's body language seemed slow, and depressed, but it still did what it had to do, but Giffard wanted to find out what the problem in it's circuitry was that was making his machine wear down. Late in the night, while toying with the insides of his robot, he found nothing was wrong. He spent days trying to find out the calculations,and time was running short, his creation would be going out to battle soon. He was on his computer, reviewing lessons and formulas, when he heard writing being put down on the wall. He turned around quickly to find the robot scratching his finger into the side of the room. He dashed across his workspace, and read what the writing was. "Mouth"... Giffard gasped and went to work as quickly as his mind would let him. After hours of work, he was able to make a communication device on the blank face of the robot. Slowly, the machine spoke, and uttered the words "I must not fight anymore..."                                     This startled Giffard. All the robot could do was walk and fight, after all! Well, talking too, because he just added it. After months of development, Giffard and the robot could communicate quickly and efficiently, but what was more astounding was the fact that this robot had deep, fluent, natural emotions. He didn't want to fight in the war because while going into another country one day, they had found that in a normal city, there was a building that was full of troopers and nuclear weapons. Obviously not in the city, but on the bare edge of it. The orders were to take down the building, before the nuclear weapons were explosive and fully developed, but only to destroy the weapons, not to kill anyone. The robot was at the entrance of the building, with orders set to be prepared if the situation got violent. While waiting, a group of kids were watching him from a distance, intrigued at the fact that a huge robot was in their neighborhood. He waved to the kids, and they exchanged glances, smiled, and came closer. But then, an explosion happened. As it turns out, the army got to the building too late, and inside, a pretty hairy situation caused a blast that radiated about three miles of the city... Causing the army to retreat and get covered from the blast, the robot to be unaffected, radiation and some burning wouldn't hurt him, because of the way his armor was built. But the kids had no army training, and no armor, so the explosion caused the group to be burned/crushed. The robot was extremely startled and upset. The children were innocent, and they only died because he had to go there. It was definitely a horrific scene, and after that, this disturbed machine never wanted to cause an innocent being's death ever again.
    Giffard listened to his creation's tale. An idea came to him, and for many years, his machine and himself traveled around the world,showing off the robots emotions, and becoming a symbol for peace, and that a robot born into this world had no evil in him, and that good can be created. Many years passed. The robot grew old. Giffard had eventually become to see his robot as a being, and not a mechanism, and had granted it a name. A name with no meaning. A name that would eventually be defined as a synonym for peace, hope, and justice. The name was: Connaught. After the years went by, Connaught realized that he couldn't survive for long. Even though he wasn't human, that didn't mean he didn't have a lifespan. His calculations predicted that he only had a year left, giving him about 56 years of life that he had on this planet. To continue his legacy, he created blueprints for a better, sleeker, modern, agile robot. One that would be his son. One that would continue his legacy. One that would unknowingly end all human life. Now the prologue is over. Now begins the story of...The Green Shredder.
