This review is dedicated to Bill Hanna, Joe Barbera, and Casey Kasem (Shaggy's voice actor).
Scooby-Doo Where Are You? is a classic Hanna-Barbera animated show. The show is 1 of Hanna-Barbera's most popular shows.
Plot
The show is about 4 humans (Fred, Shaggy, Velma, and Daphne) and a dog (Scooby-Doo) who are mystery solvers. In each episode they go up against a different antagonist.
The fact that each episode has a different antagonist helps keep the show unique. The adventures of the main characters are entertaining and fun.
Characters
Shaggy is the fun loving and eccentric member of the group. He's funny. Scooby-Doo is the comedy relief dog. Fred Jones is the leader of the group. He's a cool leader. He's my favorite of the original 5 members. Velma Dinkley is the smartest member of the group. Daphne Blake is the member who loves fashion.
Voice Cast
Frank Welker started voicing Fred Jones in 1969 and he still voices Fred! His long running dedication to the franchise is awesome. Don Messick voiced Scooby-Doo as well as several other Hanna-Barbera characters including Boo-Boo, Ranger Smith, and Papa Smurf.
Animation
The animation of this show and other Hanna-Barbera shows is nicely colorful. The animation is pretty good.
Overall
Scooby-Doo Where Are You? is a well done animated show that has good characters and impressive voice acting. Also the songs are really catchy.

I really love the original 1969 series of Scooby Doo. And I also enjoy the OAV movies - Scooby Doo on Zombie Island and Scooby Doo and The Witch's Ghost. But I not so sure about the new TV series and movies, I mean from Scooby Doo and the Legend of the Vampire all the way to the recent film Scooby Doo! Abracadabra Doo, why are Fred and Daphne back in their original clothes? I mean wasn't Daphne suppose to be TV show hostess and Freddy her camera-man, huh? So that is why I did not buy those films nor the What's New Scooby Doo DVDs. So to me, the original Scooby Doo, Where Are You show and the two movies: Scooby Doo on Zombie Island and Scooby Doo and The Witch's Ghost are the best.
