'American Idol' winner, Scotty McCreery, is scheduled to sing the National Anthem at Game 1 of the World Series! The is scheduled for Wednesday, October 19th, but unfortunately, it seems that Scotty's favorite teams won't be there! He vented his frustrations last night through his Twitter account:

The American Idol Summer Tour kicked off last night in Salt Lake City, Utah to enthusiastic fans and emphatic reviews. The local Salt Lake Tribune even heralded the Top 11 as the “most talented cast yet.”

Scotty McCreery's fan community has been going crazy with anticipation over the singer's debut country album these past few weeks. While many of the details regarding the record have been kept under wraps, there are now 2 confirmed song titles which Scotty has on hold!

Taste of Country reports that Nashville's popular songwriters Rhett Akins, Ben Hayslip, and Dallas Davidson of the Peach Pickers have pitched two songs to Scotty McCreery which he now has on hold for his album.
