Joan woke from her sleep upon hearing the noise downstairs, she got out of the bed and went down the stairs to living room only to see that Sherlock and Joesph had been playing one of their many games and have knocked over almost everything in the living room.

Sherlock woke early and just stared at his brother. They were going home today and he couldn't be happier. He would see his son soon but most importantly he would see Joan. He missed her so much. Mycroft rolled over and opened his eyes.

'No i'm fine. What time's our flight?'
'About two o'clock. We have a few hours left.'

Sherlock took James back to Mycroft's flat to shower and change. Once he was in the kitchen, Sherlock pulled Mycroft aside.
'Moriarty is in London.'
'How do you know?'
'James stole two grand from him. That's why you haven't heard from him, he's been in hiding.'
'Have you called Scotland yard?'
'Not yet, If Moriarty knows we're on to him..He'll vanish. We'll have to bide our time with this one.'
'Alright, James can stay in the other guest room for now. You should probably call Joan.'

Joan sat in the interview waiting for Gregson and Bell to show up. She couldn't help but wonder where Sherlock could have gone. He didn't have anyone left to help him. He was alone. The door opened and Gregson came in.
'How could you let this happen? I thought Sherlock was your... i don't know friend?.'
'It wasn't my decision.'
'Your the captain. Everything that happens gets run by you first.'

When he got home, Joan was just out of the shower.
'Hey, where did you get off too?.'
'The police station. we've been broken into.'
'Did they take anything?.' Sherlock shook his head. 'Then why would they bother?.'
'Probably some kid, who was dared but wimped out at the last second. Anyway you need to get dressed, they'll be here in five minutes.'
'OK.' She went into her room. The doorbell rang.
'That'll be them.' Sherlock went downstairs and opened the door. 'Captain Gregson. Detective Bell.' He motioned for them to come in.
'Where do you want us to search?.'
'Just the kitchen.'
