I just wanted to start this article by saying I am a big fan of Shinedown. I just recently went to one of their concerts in North Carolina. My daughter and I attend the concert and it was great. The reason we loved Shinedown is because of these 4 songs remind my daughter and I of my son who passed away of a heroin and fentanyl overdose. He was in a closet hidden away and was not discovered until the next day by his roommate. I assume that he was ashamed of what he was doing to himself and his family.
