A while back, I watched a movie called "Prime Cut", and "Sin City" reminded me of this a lot. I wonder if they might have been influenced by it.
It was made in 1972... stars Lee Marvin, Sissy Spacek, and Gene Hackman. It doesn't have anything like the visuals of "Sin City" (which I thought were outstanding), but the story is so surreal that it gives you that comic book feel. Considering when it was made, it was a lot more wicked than I expected. It's one of the movies that fall into my guilty pleasures category.
Anyone else see this, and possibly have similar thoughts?
