psycokillerlulz Thats a really good insight... I didn't think anyone would pick that up. But the Remnant dies as soon as the human body does, so it would not have a chance to escape. Nye would have to remove it from the soul, which he will sorta know how to do, becasue he knows roughly where the soul is (according to mortal coil). BUt when I found out, I sat there for ten minutes repeating "Nye could do it" and it would fit the storyline, because Landy could make the Banshee and the Dullahan attack them, to make the storyline better! you Genesis, are a very smart human... LULZ

AND IT WOULD PROBABLY HURT MORE IF HE FOUND OUT THAT SHE WAS GOING OUT WITH SANGUINE (LITERALLY, IF GHASTLY GOT VENGEFUL, HE MIGHT JUST BREAK SANGUINE'S NECK)

save_tanith i also thought of this therory step 1 assemble cleavers + force to capture tanith (fight of billy-ray, and have an emotional scene between evil tanith and gastly on the way to the banche) step 2 skulldugery or kailub accompanies tanith(evil) in to carrige (most likely skull man..lol) and force into the carrige (hopefully unconsious) step 3 i agree with psycokillerlulz and think that the remenant will not leave straight away because it is fused to her soal. in book 5 nigh wanted to experiment on valcary to find the soul. so nigh agrees esily to oparate on tanith. she finds taniths soul (probally in the brain) and seperates the remnant capturing it in the soul capture, given to the by the necromancers for keeping them quiet about them setting it free in the first place. step 4 they leave the wearhouse and tanith is cured .. YAY!!.. then tanith and gastly go on their steak date (which i am really looking forward to ) the end (of tanith's resue)

partypony Theory: The Remnant inside her is permanent. They said so themselves. It can't be done. If there IS a way, don't you think Land would've hinted at it? Besides, it's a well-known fact that Landy intended to kill Tanith in the first book with the White Cleaver (but because his editors didn't like the idea, he settled for torturing her in every book.) This might be Landy's chance to get rid of Tanith. To get rid of the loose Remnant... someone has to kill Tanith... therefore killing the Remnant... Wait, if the host dies, does the Remnant die along with her? If so, I think this is a good theory. If not, then I really hope the soul catcher ides works. Or any of these, actually.

Kandy_Plite I wish Ghastly WOULD break Sanguines neck, I hate him, he creaps me out. This is acctualy really good, only, how would you catch Tanith with Sanguine on the loose. Difficult. I think this could work but HOW you would get Tanith in the carrige, i dont know, Landy should look at this.

skulgirlchloe thats what i thought could happen with nye!i would love tanith back to normal because she is fab. i was sad when she turned evil *wipes a stray tear*. Also i think there should be a show down of sanguine and ghastly. For some reasaon, sanguine reminds me of the tiny cowboy on night at the muesem.

JaydenxevenSP alot of these theories would work but, i agree that i think its fused to the soul and theres question of whether nye can actually find the soul, it says that its narrowed ot down to two places in the human body and without further gruesome experiments, it may never find the soul, we might have to see the old side of nye again, not saying that its ever really gonna stop with the experiments, but if it can find the soul the i guess it could operate. I want tanith back very much though so i hope derek brings her back. However I think that is unlikely. I want sanguine to stay alive aswell, beaten up by ghastly, whatever, but hes an unpredictable character that is always switching sides, its interesting to see whos side hes on in each one, who knows, he might get sick of tanith and help with the capture because shes now too strong for him and he hates remnants anyway
