why are they making this superman the weakest worst superman I've ever seen and I grew watching superman and loving him as a hero this one is so weak, he can't fly everybody can fly but him and he is so naive WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
because this show is about superman growing and deveolping his powers its also supposed to show how he learns and matures, superman had to expiernce things to get to the superman we all know things didnt just pop before his eyes
You know this is something I have tried to argue about for AGES!! This show is, if you look at the title on the Box-sets Smallville: The early years!! Its about how He GETS to be the Icon we Know, NOT him being fully Formed as the Icon!!! Sorry just really yanks my Crank that people get so stuck on what they THINK it should be!!
if this is his early years why are the using the same people he fought like Zod after he had all his powers also Lex Luther instead of people we never heard of people I know he beat but in smallville they are beating him and out smarting him they should of used unknowns instead I still like superman I just don't like the way they're doing him
clark isnt gonna fly until he accepts his destiny and his own fears about heights...like everybody has said this is before superman, so its gonna be different take on clark kent or boy scout (lol oliver's nick for him) before he becomes Superman.
Well, for one thing. The creators are probably making the season this way just because there's going to be another season. So, they can hold everything off until next season. Well, don't you want them to be on air as long as they can? Well, this might be the way. However, I just heard that Zod got he's powers back? Well, that is different for Clark to have to handle, but not for Superman. At this rate, maybe bringing in his foe's now; the ending will be different. I mean if he fights everyone he was suppose to when he becomes superman, then what will be left to make his destiny like it originally is suppose to be? So, I agree with you on this part. In the next season maybe he'll come across his foe's again. One's that will be old rather then new. LOL.. that's a switch around.
Smallville tells the story of Clark Kent before he became Superman. It shows his way up, what made him be what he is and tells the story of his personal life. That is the reason Clark is weaker than superman - he hasn't gained all his power yet.

well his ability to fly is there we have seen clark use this ability unoffically a few times, its gonna happen sooner rather than later
It's because the 'elite' in implementing their global government need to psychologicslly manipulate the people into pacivity. Superman represents the archetypal strong, good, moral, principled hero. The authorities want to degrade him and portray villains and women characters as stronger to emasculate strong, heroic male figures in the public consciousness and make people aspire to evil and to grant more power to women as men are the biggest threat to the evil new world order.
The show is called Smallville:the early years of superman. It is about the years before Clark Kent became Superman and before he discovered why he had these powers and what his purpose was.
