Three first years lounged around the lake, celebrating the end of exams. One was a girl with thick dark brown hair. She was leaning against the trunk of thed old oak tree, her nose buried in a thick book.
The second of the trio was a boy, who had his arm around the girl's shoulders. He was also staring at the book. He was rather small and skinny, with round glasses, untidy black hair, and a spattering of freckles across his face.
The last of the three was more on the handsome side, with sleek blond hair. He felt a bit awkward around the couple. After all, he had hexed one just becaause of who he hung out with and the other…well, she was hard to place. Johanna, Albus, and Scorpius had a knack for finding adventures. They, along with James, Ruby, and Sierra, had already been in the Forbidden Forest twice this year, just to prove they could. Well, Jo, as Albus and James called her, wanted to see if something was still there. The others would try to get answers out of her, but she answred them like a centaur.
"Ask your father," she had said to Albus and James.
"Read the books," she told Ruby and Sierra.
"You wouldn't understand," she said to Scorpius. After that, they just stopped asking questions and went with her wild theories. Albus and James had written home about her once. Their father's answer was very surprising.

I once knew a girl just as odd as Johanna. Her name was Luna Lovegood. She and her father believed the most ridiculous stories. But it was also one of those stories that helped me realize the true identity of my Cloak.
She seems like a nice girl, (your mum told me to write that) so I don't see any problem at all. If it makes you feel any better, I'll check up on her. We're between cases right now.
Have a good rest of term and don't eat any of Hhaagrid's treacle fudge, it'll glue your mouth shut (long story, short parchment).

Today, the trio, or rather, Jo, had the idea to gopoking around the third floor corridor on the right-hand side. Unfortunately, they didn't get any further thanthe entrance hall before they ran into Snape. Literally ran into him. Scorpius actually collided with him.
"What are you three doing inside on a day like today? People might think you're…up…to something," he said, glaring down at them.
"Wow, deja vu," Jo said, taking off her glasses to clean them.
"What's deja vu?" Al asked as soon as they were outf of earshot.
"It's when you feel like you've done something already, of heard something before, in certain circumstances. Right now, I felt it because I read about Snapesaying that exact same thing, standing in that same spot."
"Weird."
"You have no idea."
