The reason I paired Sonic with Blaze is because, she fits. Sonic and Blaze are opposites in many ways but they are just similar in just as many. Sonic is laid-back, impulsive, selfish, and easy going. Blaze is straight forward, focus, intelligent and prefers to think before she acts yet they compliment each other, have respect for one another and trust each other on the level of that equal to Knuckles and Shadow. While they may argue and of course have differences, they can see past those problems to work together, even when the two don't understand what situation they're in, they're always willing to help one another even when not asked for it. And because of Blaze's personality, I could see them getting together. Sonic is a man who wants to be himself and nothing else and Blaze is a woman who wants the exact same thing. Hell, she doesn't even let other people call her "princess" or "Highness" or "majesty". She wants to be respect for who she is as a person and not for her title and because she understands what that feels like, I could not see Blaze forcing Sonic to ever married or even force him into a relationship. Blaze understands she has priorities to handle and if Sonic isn't on boat then she'll sail away without him. This is why I believe Sonic could match with Blaze because Blaze doesn't have this obsessive desire to be with him like Sally and Amy has nor is she hypocritical. She's a woman who follows her own path and like ALL men, we would rather chase a woman and show her how we feel then have a woman constantly follow and chase us. its part of who we are, our genetics prove that. Plus not to mention one of the more bigger reasons why I could see them sticking together aside from the mutual respect and trust they share in one another also coupled with the fact that Sonic loves to make people smile and Sonic was the first person to have ever made her smile or at least lead her down a path to happiness, Sonic would use this chance to travel to a brand new world filled with new possibilities and new bad guys to beat up. Where Sonic and Sally seem destined to marry, and where Sonic and Amy have no chance in or out of hell ESPECIALLY since her creator said so, Sonic and Blaze seem to be the perfect middle ground and would probably be the closest to a normal couple there world has to offer. But if you don't like my ideas or pairings since its based on actual logic not just my personal bias feelings on the matter, then I can tell you to go read someone else's fanfics because if you plan on sharing your opinion on a fake couple with fake characters in a fake universe created by a bunch of japanese people then in all honesty, you go to find something better to do with your time
My reason why i hate sonamy
Amy is Sonic female opposite. She's pushy, loud, selfish (Like him but Sonic directs his selfishness on himself) and obsessive where Sonic is laid-back, carefree, nonchalant and unable to stay in one spot for too long at a time. Amy continuously chases after Sonic, MUCH to his honest dismay on the subject as he's quick to run in fear of her and because Amy is so selfish and short tempered where Sonic on the other hand is so laid-back about everything that he blows off anything that doesn't interest him, That Amy will freak out anytime Sonic doesn't return her feelings and will literally attack him. In the real world, that would be called Domestic Abuse if they were ina relationship and she would be sent to jail for it. She doesn't understand Sonic lives for freedom, its who he is but she on the other hand wants to trap him or force him into loving her without taking the time to truly get to know the guy. I understand some people like the couple for the same species couple like how people only like to date within their race but with them, it can't work in a romantic way. If Sonic was willing to turn down his girlfriend's idea to him doing what she wanted to do who he was dating for 5 years, what makes you think someone like Amy could ever have a chance with someone like Sonic who's so concern about his freedom that anyone who gets in the way of that gets mowed down. I mean the reason he's been putting up with her chasing for so long is because he doesn't like the idea of hurting women. He's said so plenty of times in the comic that no matter what, unless a person was attempting to take the lives of others or attempted to enslave another person, he would never strike a woman, especially if he sees her as a friend and since I've had a stalker before who was a friend, I WELL understand the reasons why he's annoyed with it, but will never intentionally make her feel bad. Even Kazuyuki Hoshino, the creator and designer of Amy Rose back during Sonic CD stated that while her character's style is to always chase Sonic, he did not foresee changing her role in the future as always chasing but never reaching him. And In response to questions asking whether Sonic and Amy would marry or ever date, Naka said that there would not be good chances of this occurring, and that Kazuyuki Hoshino could not envision Sonic being married and having children and he doesn't plan on changing that.
