Star Trek: New Voyages - Blood And Fire

BJsRealm This film/movie is actually based upon the original idea suggested, yet rejected by Paramount, coming from the Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry himself in the 1980's. The idea was apparently too radical for Paramount back then, as much it is too radical for any canon Star Trek film/movie or TV series/show even today, in the 21st century. Gene's widow was a huge supporter of her late husband's idea, so this film/movie is made with her blessing. Unfortunatelly, she hasn't lived long enough to actually see it herself because she has died prior to this film/movie was completed, at the end of 2008, so this film/movie pays special tribute to late Majel Barrett Roddenberry, Gene's widow. For the first time ever in Star Trek history, a love story of Lt. Alex Freeman & Ensgn. Peter Kirk was introduced to Star Trek universe. This film/movie should be made long time ago! Star Trek franchise is all about the future & what kinda of future would it be if it doesn't include the members of the LGBT community? Even today, in the 21st century, reality is much more liberal & progressive than all the official Star Trek canon films/movies, which is rather surprising to say at least. Enjoy the film/movie! :D
