My voice seem to come out on its own. Over and over i heard myself begging him to quit joking, stop making me upset. But even as i did it, i already knew the truth. There was no point in me doing all these things. Hope had disappeared the moment i had spotted him out here. When i heard his rasping breath, his last words. Before he even closed his eyes, i knew what was going on. As i screamed his name into the distance. When i took him and that kit back into the camp. Seeing his body being dragged by my jaws. Nothing could hide such an obvious thing. Thinfrost was dead; my only brother, my only real family that cared about me. The one who encouraged me to do what i wanted.
