"Stormstar" a voice called, "Stormstar wake up!" Stormstar's eyes flew open and she found herself, standing on an open moor. The grass under her paws felt fresh and newly grown, the dark blue sky above her head was lightend by the shining star's and the bright moons reflection in the river, that was only inches away from her. She jumped to her paws.
Last Stormstar remembered, she was in her den, shifting uncomfertably in her nest. The cold wind leaf-bare wind was sending chils through her skin. Now, she was here, on a moorland in new-leaf.
Then Stormstar saw one of the stars brighten, she had to squint her eyes because the light was so bright. Then the star slolwy came running down the night sky. As it got closer she realized that it was Nightstar! Just then all the stars began moving and followed Nightstar more slolwy out of the sky, and to earth below.
As Nightstar approached, he rubbed heads with Stormstar. Stormstar felt as if she wanted to sink in his scent forever but the moment with Nightstar ended to soon, and in a couple heartbeats, Nightstar stepped back into the ranks of the other Starclan cats.
Just then another Starclan warrior stepped out. her fur was sleek and shinning and her blue eyes turned silver in the moonlight. "Greetings Stormstar" the silver she-cat dipped her head.
Stormstar remained silent, she just stood wide-eyed staring at the she-cat. "I saw you last time" Stormstar exclaimed!
"Well, theres never a wrong time to visit kin" the she-cat soothed, Stormstar bowed her head. "I-I wish things could have been different, Silvercloud" Stormstar admitted. A shadow of sadness crossed Silverclouds face, "as do I, my sister, by the way, how is Wavestorm?"
Immediatly a brown tom cat reacted at the name and stepped out of the ranks of the Starclan cats. "Shes not hurt, is she?"
Stormstar supressed a smile, "No Skyhawk, she's fine.....and so is the rest of the clan."
"Thats good to know" Silvercloud comented, "I miss you and Wavestorm more then death, you were my kin, my littermates, and my best friends. I couldnt of asked for more from you guys."
Stormstars eyes widened as she remembered Silverclouds death. Stormstar went out to hunt for the newly created Stormclan with Skyhawk and Silvercloud. Then, Silvercloud went after a thrush, it was so big and plump that it could have fed the whole clan! But as she chased it, she was so intent on catching the thrush that she hadnt even realized that she'd crossed onto the thunderpath! A car went by and......and it was all over for Silvercloud.
"Will i lose Wavestorm to?" Stormstar asked werily, as the vision vanished from her head. "We had five littermates and you and Wavestorm were all i had left......then you died...."
Silvercloud touched her nose to Stormstars, "Do not shed so much pain, dear sister, Wavestorm may be an elder but shes a fighter too. She'll survive for a many moons more, watever happens." Stormstar wasnt reassured.
Then Silvercloud stepped back into the ranks, until she was standing beside Nightstar. To Stormstars amazemnt, Skyhawk stepped up.
Stormstar starred speachless as the hansom brown tom stood before her. His pelt was soft and nurished, his amber eyes were shinning, and his paws were dotted with stars. Stormstar envied her sister and yet, she knew she loved Nightstar more then she would have ever loved Skyhawk. "I miss Wavestorm" he admitted, "but she wont be joining me for several moons, and im willing to wait every season for it."
Stormstar dipped her head, to the brown tom. Skyhawk touched noses with her and then began to fad, along with all the other Starclan warriors.
Stormstar was waking up, from her dream.
