Remembering Danny Wells (1941-2013)

R.I.P. Danny Wells (AKA Luigi) You will be missed.

I have got some sad news for all of us here on Nintendo. I got a word from Behind the Voice Actor to report that Danny Wells, Who was the voice of Luigi Mario on The Super Mario Bros. Super Show, The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3, and Super Mario World. Has died. He was at age 72. He died on November 28th 2013. He was who gave us the "That's Mama Luigi to you, Mario!" Danny Wells was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This is very sad news. :'( First, We lost Captain Lou Albano (Mario Mario), Then we lost Dennis Hopper (Bowser), and now we lost Danny Wells (Luigi Mario). This is very sad news to all of us, And god bless you, Mario and Luigi. And R.I.P. Danny Wells (1941-2013).

Previously On Super Mario Stories: Mario & Luigi went off to the Toad Bazaar to buy more sugar for Peach's cake. Iggy and Kamek heard someone coming through the hallway door...

"What did you do this time you dumb Goomba of a Koopa?" Kamek asked Iggy. "Well... I sort'a used King Dad's coins to buy all of these glasses." Iggy explained further, but the door burst open and Lemmy came out on his wonder ball hopping and spinning gleefully. Iggy placed his hand on his heart and sighed in relief. "Heeeeeyyyyyy… Iggster! I heard about your plan with the glasses!" Lemmy said balancing on his wonder...
