Superman was created in 1938. Due to quickly becoming one of the most popular characters in the history of comics, Superman was adapted into various films. This article is for looking over the Superman feature-length films. In addition to appearing in these films, Superman also appeared in a series of theatrical cartoons in the 1940's. Superman Returns is a film that came out in June of 2006. The film, which starred Brandon Routh as Superman, was meant to lead to, at the very least, one sequel. That ended up not happening.
