I limped around my bed room for a few minutes and then I went over to the stairs. I stared at the stairs for a second and then I took one step forward but cold arms picked me up and walked down the stairs with me. Thanks. I thought.I limped into the kitchen and I saw a bowl full of water in it that had my name on it. Yes, it literly did have my name on it. Edward, I want to go hunting. I thoughtYou can't go hunting. He said walking into the kitchen.Yes, I can! I thought.How are you going to hunt, when your shoulder is hurt? He asked.You're going to catch an animal for me and bring it to me. I thought. Edward starting thinking,.Please. I was begging in my thoughts,Fine, Let's go. He said.Where are y'all going? Emmett ask as we walked through the livingroom.
Hunting. Edward replied with out any emotion in his voice.
Edward, be nice. I thought.
He just turned around and made the " don't start with me" face.
I growled and when a smirk came up on his face i pit his leg. It was hularious to see his face after I bit him.
Samantha? What in the world are you doing? He asked.
Teaching you a lesson. I thought.
I don't thnk I need a lesson from a twelve year old. He said.
I'm not twelve! I screamed in my head.
Oh, I'm sorry. I'm still like hundred or more years older than you! He yelled.
I didn't say anything, I was truely scared. I was just joking with him at first but he got all serious. I jumped behind Emmett, knowing that if Edward did get into one of his screaming moments Emmett would keep me safe. Edward finally ran fast out of the room. I felt bad because at first I was just joking with him but he took it seriously.I got out from behind Emmett and I saw carlisle standing at the stairs so I gave him an apologetic smile and ran after Edward. I sniffed out the path he and followed it. I was runnign which wasn't a good but I knew that I needed to make things right. I ran for what seemed a long time but it just seemed that long because my shoulder was hurting really badly.
Edward, I'm sorry. I was joking at first but you go mad.I thought but more like screamed in my mind.
I found a little stream that had crystal clear water so I decided to drink some. I sat down and rested some and when I went to get up I saw something behind me. It was a hunter. I didn't know what to because I did't want to hurt him but I couldn't just stand there and let him shoot me. Before I could even run, I heard a pow and the hunter had shot me in the shoulder. I started running away but it wasn't fast enough unti he shot me again. I ran as hard and as fast as I could until I knew that I was far away form the hunter. I ran back towards the house and tried to listen to anyones breathing or running but I didn't hear anything so I knew that I was okay. It took forever to get home and I was running full speed home one because I was scared to death and two well that was the only reason but I thought two sounded better than one. I keept screaming in my thoughts hoping that Edward would hear me, actually I was praying. I finally got home and everyone was inside and I couldn't open the door. I started wimpering and soon Emmett was at the door. I was still bleeding from where the bullets had went into me.
Carlisle! He yelled as he opened the door and looked down at me.
Carlisle rushed down to the door and picked me up and rushed me upstairs.
Did Edward do this to you? Emmett said furiously.
I shook my head no.
Carlisle had me hook up to all kind of medical stuff and soon he was telling me that he was going to put me under so he could get the bullets out.
Edwards POV
Sam, sometimes gets on my nerves. She is usually so happy even in the worst of cases. This time she went over board makig a joke and I flat out told her and then figured she was fixing to start crying so I ran into the woods. I could hear her thoughts yelling for me but I didn't feel calm enough to deal with it. When I heard two gun shots, I knew it was a hunter I could smell him but I didn't hear Samantha's thoughts so I figured she went back home. When I got back home Emmett was standing outside in the yard with a face I've never seen before. He was so mad.
Emmett what's up? I asked.
You know. He said.
No, seriously. I said.
Samantha, you were out there when she got shot. Why didn't you help her? He asked.
I didn't know that was her. I said.
Really? Emmett said.
Yeah, I figured she came back here after not being able to find me because I couldn't hear her. I told him.
Well Carlisle is operating on her now. Emmett told me.
Is she okay? I asked.
Yeah, she's going to be fine. Emmett said.
I walked into the house and Rosalie gave me the "you could have done something and you didn't" stare.
I walked out the back door and went back to my house to see Bella and Renesme. I knew Carlisle or someone would come get me when things changed.
Samantha's POV.
When I woke up, I wasn't in any pain and during sometime while I was out I had shifted back to my human form. I tired to sit up but I had a big bandage around my waist. I looked around and I wasn't in my room and I wasn't in the hospital just another room of the house. I was hooked up to every mashine that a hospital could own. I didn't want to he hooked up to all these mashines but I knew that if I unhooked anyone of them Carlisle would get mad. Within a minute or so Carlisle walked in my room with Emmett and Rosalie right by his side.
Rose, have you been crying? I asked.
I can't cry, Samantha but if I could I would. She said.
I'm okay. I told her.
I know. I was worried though. She said.
Emmett had his arms wrapped around her waist and was smiling. Carlisle soon made them leave my room because I needed rest and I quickly fell asleep after they left.
