Samantha 26

Hey Guys, 
Sorry this story took so long to write. I've had sorta writers block. I havent made my mind up where to go with this story right now. Sorry for the wait. Comment and rate please!!!! 


I went straight upstairs and got in the shower. When I got out Sam was sitting on my bed. 
Sleepy? Sam asked. 
Surprisingly, yes. I said. 
I dried my hair and then went out on my little patio. The stars shined so bright. They were beautiful. I felt Sam out his arms around me and I layed my head back onto his shoulder. Usually silence is weird and awkward but this time it was perfect. We were looking at the stars. I started thinking of the past and how I'd never really had a true friend before. 
I'll always be here for Samantha, no matter what. Sam wispered into my ear. 
I smiled and said I know. 
Sam and I stood there for a minute longer and then he scooped me up into his arms. He carried me to my bed and layed me gently in the middle. 
Where are you going? I asked. 
To sit in this chair. He said. 
You can lay on my bed with me. I said. 
He smiled and walked over to my bed. I layed my head on his chest and fell asleep looking at how beautiful he was. When he got on my bed and layed down, I layed my head on his chest. I was so cool but yet he was perfectly warm, it was wierd. Sam started humming a song, his voice was perfect.
I was to tired to actually speak and ask so I just layed there and listen to his amazing voice. I fell alseep so calm unlike the past few months had been. When I woke up the next morning, it felt like I had been asleep for three days. Sam was still lying next to me too, just looking down at me. 
How long have I been asleep? I asked. 
Twenty-four hours eactly. He said. 
Wow. I haven't slept so good in such a long time. I told him. 
Well you better go and take a shower so you can go visit your mom. She is awake now. He said. 
No way! I said. 
Yeah, hurry. He said. 
I jumped into the shower and took the fastes shower I had ever done before. I grabbed my towel wrap and walked out into my room. I went to my duffel bag and pulled out my famous bluejeans shorts and then I ran back towards my closet in hopes to find a new tshirt. I found this turquoise tshirt that had a white anchor on it. I ran a comb in my very tangled hair and then found Sam sitting downstairs infront of the tv with the volume so low he couldn't even hear it. 
Why do you have the volume so low?? I asked. 
Don't know, you ready? He asked. 
Yeah. I said. 
On the way to the truck I saw my old board standing in the corner covered in dust. I grabbed it and ran towards the truck with it. I layed it in the bead of the truck and then we were off to the hospital. We got to the hospital and I sprinted towards mom's room. 
Oakley and Dad were talking to mom when I walked in. 
Hey mom! I said. 
Samantha! Oh, honey your all grown up. She said. 
Oh, mom your okay. I'm so happy. I said. 
Well come on, give me a hug. She demanded. 
I gave her a big hug and then Sam was standing quietly in the doorway. 
Mom, I want you to meet Sam. I said. 
Sam walked over to my mom and stuck out his hand. 
Oh, come here and just give me a hug. She told Sam. 
I was shocked and a little embarrassed that she had that. She hardly knew him. I don't think dad was too keen on me having a vamp as a friend but he was going to have to get over that. 
Sam, how did you get here? Sparkly boy. Oakley asked. 
Oakley! Be nice. I said. 
I'm just curious. Oakley said. 
I didn't get the sparkle thing during my transform. Sam told Oakley. 
Cool. Oakley said. 
Where did you before you met Samantha? Dad asked. 
I lived in the South part of Georgia. Sam said to my dad. 
Dad, your acting like a drill Sargent. Please stop. I said. 
Sorry honey. Dad said.
The doctor came in and told mom that she could go home tomorrow morning which we were all thrilled about. Mom told me to go surfing, so being a gracious daughter that I am I minded her. 
Keep her safe, Sam. Dad demanded. 
Yes sir. Sam said.  
I started thinking about the all of the locals I missed. There was Mr. Don and Matt but I hadn't really seen Matt since I had showed him what I was. I went and grabbed my board out of the truck and then headed towards the beach. I went to the main lifeguard tower in search for Mr. Don. I got lucky and found him lounging in his chair upstairs. 
Mr. Don! I yelled. 
Yeah, what is it? He asked. 
I'm here to see ya. I said. 
Samantha is that you? He asked. 
Yes sir. Who else would it be? I said 
He came running down the stairs. 
Oh Samantha, how are you? He asked. 
Pretty good. I said. How about yourself?
Great. He said.
