Yes he did get beaten up by the beadle. It happened because Anthony was walking by Judge Turpins house and heard Johanna singing while sitting at her window. And Turpin is a bit of a creeper so he peeks in Johanna's room and sees her looking out the window down to the streets below.Turpin goes outside to see Anthony stareing up at Johanna's window and invites him inside.Turpin then goes nuts saying Anthony was "gandering" at Johanna(which he kind of was)So Turpin has the beadle take Anthony outside to beat him up.The End
Now isn't that a happy story? lol
