After two days of resting from their adventures, the Beatles and Laura scheduled their second concert for tomorrow (March 29) during lunch time before heading to a department store located at the city square. George had already returned the van to the rental center and bought more blueberry scones by this point. As they began walking, Laura remarked, "It's fair to say that I've collected a great number of shamrocks throughout our tours, daddy George! Twenty in total!" George replied, "You certainly did, Laura, darling! Speaking of, that just gave me an idea!" Laura said, "Oooh! What is it?"...

Meanwhile, in the outskirts of Dublin, Adam was still on the run from the wrath of the hairdresser. However, he had become exhausted and didn't have any other option but to rest for a while. He said as he lied down on the grass, "I can't believe it. I just can't believe it! I've been given a verbal thrashing by one of the members of that insect band! Oh, well. Why bother? That bird really needs him more at the end of the day. Now, I hope the hairdresser won't find me here..." He then fell asleep. Unfortunately, more trouble was around the corner. You see, this grassy area is actually close...

"Morning, Geo! How have you and Laura been do-Woah!", exclaimed a soon-speechless John as he, Paul, Ringo, and Mike saw their bandmate and his daughter walking towards them at the hotel restaurant with a smiling Pattie holding his hand. They were so taken by her beauty that their jaws dropped open! This made Laura giggle and remark, "Surprised much, uncles?" George said, "Well, me mates. I am veddy please to tell you that I have a new girlfriend! This is Patricia Boyd, but you can just call her Pattie. Isn't she just beautiful and sweet?" Pattie then said, "Hello, there! It's lovely to meet...

George and Laura had returned and walked down the hallway to Pattie's room when they heard her screaming for help and at the same time, beating sounds as they got closer. George said, "Oh, dear. Something tells me Adam must've arrived back while we were away. Laura, darling, it's time to put our plan into action!" Laura replied, "Yes, daddy George! Is there anything you'd like me to do?" George replied, "Of course! While I'm confronting him, you go and stay by Pattie's side so you can give her some comfort. Okay?" Laura said, "Got it!" They then opened the door, and George exclaimed, "HOLD...

It was an unusual group that came walking into the restaurant (a nice restaurant, but not the same one the Beatles had taken their unfortunate first girlfriends to) a couple of hours later: the four girls, still smelling of blood and looking like they’d just won a fight; the four Beatles, rumpled and in need of a change of clothes and perhaps a shave, though still as gorgeous as ever; and one very large dog, who stuck close to Jenna but would periodically pad over to Ringo and lick his hand.
“We don’t allow dogs in...” the waiter started to say, but then stopped when he saw the Beatles....

Finding the Beatles turned out to be easier said than done.
“What is this place?” gasped Emma, as the four girls and one dog stepped out the kitchen’s other entrance into what they had expected to be another room or a hallway.
Instead, the space was filled with any number of doorways and paths, each one twisting off in a different direction. Some of these hallways separated later on into other hallways, and most of them had multiple doors in the sides. The girls hadn’t realized how mazelike the house was before, because the front entrance led pretty straightforwardly into the kitchen....

Natalya, Emily, May, and Morag did not expect to have visitors, or that anyone would ever stumble on their secret location. No one ever came out here, and no one had ever had any reason before to think that there might be a house tucked into this corner of the woods, much less to try and find the place. Besides, even if someone did manage to stumble on their house, the place looked far from inviting. It was made of rough grey stone, twisting towards the sky like some misshapen castle, and the rooms inside had a most confusing layout for anyone who didn’t live there and already know the place,...

The hours wore on for the Beatles, and there was no way of telling how much time had passed in their little prison. It could have been the next morning, or afternoon, or the next evening. But as the Beatles hadn’t slept at all last night, and all four were beginning to feel their eyelids getting heavy, they decided it might as well be night. There was no other way to measure time in here then by sleeps. But none of them wanted to drift off, not when they had so little time left.
Paul still insisted they would find a way out of here. “Someone will find us. Or we’ll find a way out we haven’t...

“Vanished?” repeated Susan, going pale.
Jenna frowned. “The Beatles can’t just vanish! They’ve got to be somewhere.”
Susan shook her head furiously, tears threatening to spill. “I knew it! Those terrible women took the Beatles away, and now Paul could be....” She couldn’t finish.
“Hang on.” Emma had a happier thought. “The Beatles have to be somewhere. We know they’re not anywhere Karen could find them....”
“And since I do know where they’re not, that should help us figure out where they are!” Karen finished, looking pleased. “Good one, Emma.”
“But we still...

It was cold in the gloomy basement, and dark. And the Beatles were all so hungry, and thirsty, and bored. There was absolutely nothing in their little corner, save for the dripping end of a pipe that could prolong their lives a little bit, leaking a tiny amount of water into their prison. It wasn’t enough to satisfy any of them, though. And sooner or later, they were going to need food. And while there might be an accidental source of water in here, there was no way to get food.
How could they have been so wrong about their girlfriends? Now that the boys looked back on it, they could think...

“Brilliant, Susan!” cried Jenna, as the three girls and one dog got off the bus, just a little ways from the best hotel in the city. “How did you know to come here?”
Susan blushed. “I sort of – hitched a ride with the Beatles when they came here. It was the best way to get to meet them. Only it didn’t work,” she added sadly. “Paul didn't – he didn't talk to me – but it wasn't his fault! I sort of – forget myself around him,” she admitted, brown-haired head downcast.
“Did you try writing Paul a letter?” Emma interjected here. “I don’t think you need to tell him...

Emma leaned out over the airstrip fence, peering anxiously at the runway. The Beatles were supposed to be leaving town today, but she hadn’t seen any sign of them. It wasn't the first time they hadn't appeared when they were supposed to on this tour, either. The Beatles had never shown up to their fans' meet-and-greet the night before. Emma and the other fans had waited for hours, finally dissolving into despair when it became clear that the Beatles weren’t coming. Some girls had cried, and others had screamed their disapproval, and others had tried to push their way forward to see if the...

The Beatles took their girlfriends out for a fancy dinner in a nice restaurant with dark, secluded tables where no one could see them to bother them. All four Beatles felt a little uncomfortable in the back of their minds, knowing this was the first time they had even not shown up when their fans were expecting to see them. But sitting here in the candlelight with their best girls, these thoughts seemed somehow unimportant, and were pushed aside.
“Let’s go back and get the car,” Paul said, as they stepped out into the chilly night air a few hours later. “I can drive us up to your house.”...

John, George, and Ringo spent the rest of the day running everywhere in town, searching for Paul. They caused quite a stir. Not many people saw the Beatles together in public anymore - even only three of them. People poured out of their houses, and everywhere the Beatles went, they were surrounded with screams and questions: "EEE! The Beatles are back!" "Are you going to play for us again?" "Where's Paul? How come there's only three of you?" It had never occured to John, George, or Ringo how much the fans had missed actually seeing them perform. But everyone they met seemed to feel that, now...

While enjoying lunch, George, Laura, and Spencer went on with their conversation as new friends. The former shared with the latter about how he became an adoptive father to his daughter after meeting and becoming close with her at the orphanage last year. She, in turn, told Spencer about how thankful she was for all that George has done for her so far, to which he was deeply touched. Spencer then asked, "What are you planning to do after this?" George replied, "We'll be taking a hike at Clent Hills as part of our adventure here in Birmingham." Laura nodded in agreement. Spencer remarked, "Nice!...

We Meet Again, Girls

The Beatles and Laura went to have dinner at one of the restaurants just outside the Palace grounds after watching the sunset. While waiting for their food, John saw the same trio of fans sitting in another table close to them and exclaimed, "Well, well, well! Aren't those the birds who flocked towards you, Geo?" George, who was sitting next to his daughter, also saw the girls and remarked, "Why, yes. That's definitely them." They saw him as well and waved happily, to which he waved back. Laura did the same as well, and this led to one of them saying, "We didn't know you're...

Found At Last

By the time the Beatles had searched almost everywhere in the park for Laura, their legs nearly felt tired from all the walking. However, George was still persistent and wouldn't give up until she has been found. While checking the map again, he told his mates, "There's only one place where we haven't inspected yet: The hedge maze!" John replied, "Oh, you're right! Speaking of which, I've got a hunch that she might actually be there!" "Then it's off to the maze we go!", exclaimed Paul. As they neared the maze a few minutes later, Sparkie began to make some squealing noises like...

The Search Is On!

John, Paul, and Ringo had been playing football in another area of the park when they saw George running towards them. Immediately sensing that something was wrong, Paul asked him, "Hey, Geo. Where's Laura?" George replied after taking a deep breath, "I hate to say this, but we accidentally got separated when this trio of girls swarmed me and she got carried away by a big crowd to who knows where." Ringo said, "Oh, dear. Poor Laura! I hope she isn't hurt by that crowd." George responded, "I hope so, too, Ritchie." Sparkie nodded in agreement. John said, "Well then, the search...

Where, Oh, Where Has My Laura Gone?

"Can we have your autograph, please, Georgie?", asked the fans in a still-excited tone. George, who was now covered with lipstick marks, replied, "Okay, sure." However, his mind was full of worry and concern for his daughter, and he breathed a sigh of relief once he finished and another fan said, "We better catch up with our tour now! Thank you so much, George. It was great meeting you here!" He responded, "You're welcome, loves. Take care." Now that all was settled, George proceeded to quickly wash his face at a nearby pond. Afterwards, he placed his camera back in his trench coat pocket and said, "Oh, Laura, I hope you'll be just fine. Hang on, I'm on me way to find you! And I think me mates can help me with this, too!" He then started the search party and set off to look for the other Beatles.

Stuck!

When Laura finally managed to squeeze herself out of the crowd, she saw that she was in the middle of some hedge-covered walls. "Where am I?", she wondered while walking around them. She then overheard the tour guide saying, "All right, everyone! This is the Hampton Court Maze. Just stay with our group as we go through the end here, 'cause you can easily get lost." Laura exclaimed, "Shucks! They brought me to this maze, and I don't even have an extra map!" Nevertheless, she tried to find her way out of the labyrinth. This unfortunately turned out to be quite difficult for her with no arrow signs installed for aid, and she ended up feeling exhausted as she sat in a private corner. Laura sighed and said, "I hope daddy George will be able to find me soon...".
