man. i hate dis book... not because its bad but because it makes me cry and i hate crying. im weird. i dont cry for human fatality but i cry for fictional. i was near the end of this dang book{spoiler alert} when i hear wanda was gonna sacrifice herself. i dont know wht overcame me bt i cried none stop for 5 mins. see.... when i start a bk or watch a movie or play a game, i really get into the character, so much so tht i cant even play halo cause im[fake person] im afraid im gonna get shot. or ill have to pause a tv show cause i just cant bare to see the character i love do anything stupid......and yet i have no feeling to everyday human problems. WEIRD> narcassist i kno..

but this book is so immersing i love it and STEPHENIE MEYER ROXZ.!!!! never stop writing ur awesome. her bks i just love. it makes u feel like ur the character. ever move. and when something happens to that character... u react. so much so i had to stop my ritualist reading a write this blog.

well im getting back to finishing this bk so peacciiiie

cheergeek That part made me sad too. But it made me like Wanda more, because she was willing to give herself for Mel, and her 'family'. I thought that made her a really strong person. I did almost cry when I knew Ian was falling for Wanda, and she wasn't really falling for him yet. I felt so bad for him, I didn't want him to just try to get her heart and then fail.... (I guess I was relating to something else.) but luckily I was wrong! =D

shortynme Yeah, I was feeling terrible for Ian. But the part were Wanderer was being extracted from Melanie's body, I was bawling! But when they talked about how Ian was holding her body in the tank and not letting anyone else touch her. . . I was so happy! :) I love Ian!

funnyshawna omg this book made me cry so much!! like i cried a little when walter died, and when melanie/wanda was staying with him even though he thought she was his wife. i cried when i thought that jamie was gonna die. i cried when wanda lost melanie, and when she found her again. and i cried the most when she was gonna give herself up and she was saying goodbye to ian and jared. it was soooo sad at parts, but also so happy! and i loved it!! there needs to be lots more in this series! and also a movie...:) <3

muffinandfruit OMGGGG I thought i would be the only one who crieed!!! i was like freaken bawling my eyes out on that part and when it came to that blank page i thought it was the end which made me like cry harder XD hahahahahahaha is it the same with you guys where you cry more in books than in movies?

FluFFyClouds You are not the only one I cried a lot of times not only on that part and I usually don't cry but it was hard not to I had to stop reading.

twilightlova13 I loved the book so much that one day I got yelled at because I was out on my hammock reading the book for 7 hours straight no lie!!!! I loved it and yes I did cry a lot!!!! I do get emotional with a lot of things but I hate when people see that i get emotional it shows that i'm weak and some people think it's abnoxious(or however you spell it) when people cry when reading a book or watching something. I get so frustrated when people are like "are you crying?" IDK O well!!! It was such a good book!! I think she's gonna do another too!!! I hope!!!=)

chillibanana11 its the same fiction has so much of an affect on me but most world wide problems hav no affect its weird i cried all night cuz i was reading my book in the middle of the night. the charecters take such a tole upon my emotions

pandanime12 I cried a lot through out the story too. I just really got into it and the book is really really good.

darkblue29 this book reminds my of the movie "seven pounds". now that movie made me cry. and this book is like it in some ways. i love Ian, and sometimes i just want to kick jareds butt. but hes ok sometimes, and kyle too. but ian rocks, and i felt so bad for him when he told wanda he "cared about her" and she didnt even know what she felt yet. grrr, i hate jared for hating wanda. but the book rocks.

wanderingk The Host was so sad but also heart warming. I felt so bad for Ian, but kinds thought he was taking it way to hard. I know he loves her and Ian is a fave. but I still think he took it to hard. Mel needed her body back, Jared didnt love Wanda, he loved Mel. Mel wanted Jared in her arms as herself, not Wanda. Jamie....well Jamie needed his sister back. I still think the dying part was a bit over the top. I liked the idea of her going into another body(which she did) and I hated the idea of her dying. When she decided to die I cried. I really got into the book. In some ways when I was reading it, I tried to read the book from a soul's eyes, not a human's. Humans would hate her, I did a little bit into the book but then I became all soulish and loved Wanda like she was family. The Host was magnificant!
