I would never marry, even if it was possible to marry Brandt. I was headstrong when I had courage and so I would definatly not marry. Marriage is just another form of slavery, I heard the man in 27 Dresses say that, or something like that. I would not be tied down, EVER!
When I told Sunny that she looked dissapointed. I patted her back and whispered : "Sorry Sunny, I just dont like the idea of marriage or mates."
One day I woke up screaming.
Sunny, Wanda,Ian, Brandt, Doc, Jamie and Jeb came. I was sweating and felt a sticky substance under me. I got up.
Blood.
I nearly fainted at the sight. I was not used to this. The only time I saw blood was in old movies that I found and hid. I enjoied them but always closed my eyes at the blood.
Wanda stared at me and I looked at my white jeans.
They were stained with blood too.
"Have you been acting rude or mean lately?" Doc asked me. I shook my head.
"Nome."
"Have you had this happen before?"
I blushed. "Of corse, I rembmer THAT."
"Well then, I think your pregnant," Doc said with a smile. I shook my head furiously.
"Motherhood is another form of slavery here! My kind of motherhood inculdes death! I dont know how to be a mother!" I screamed. They hushed me.
"Lucina can help, she has two young sons," Wanda assured me.
"No, I am not being a mother!" I squeaked.
"What do you expect us to do honey?" Jeb asked.
"I dont know, anything, I dont want to have a baby. Motherhood will tire me dead and then what will it have?" I asked. Brandt came closer.
"Windy come on, have the baby. We will all help," He assured.
"But I will get fat and huge, I dont have any stretchy clothes, I never planned on being pregnant."
"We will get some on the next raid, promise," Ian said with a wink and Wanda. I raised an eyebrow and Wanda gave me a look saying 'its nothing'. I turned my eyes back to my bigger stomach and sighed. I had no more excuses.
"I give up," I said and they all smiled.
"Well, I dont know how to deliver a baby.." Doc said. Sunny and Wanda stepped forward.
"We will take her to a Healer when she is ready, They can get the baby out and we will tell them we want the human baby. Then we will come back," Wanda said.
"I will come to cheer you on Winds," Sunny laughed.
