askarsfan I think their relationship was alright. I think they did care about each other and then later on in the movie they made love. I don't see him staring at her and saying "Star" as possessive I see him saying that like he was concerned about her.

_-Fawn-_ I'm thinking that before the movie, (*I'm speaking hypothetically...lol well obviously*) they did have had a romantic relationship. But when she found out about them being vampires and when he tried to turn her(into a vampire), she eventually lost interest but stayed with them because she probably didn't have anyone or anywhere else to turn to and she knew that if she was alone,she'd eventually kill someone no matter how good of a person she is,and that staying with them would remind her of how evil they are and would prevent herself from ending up that way. Now with david, he did like/or love her at some point, but with her refusing to kill/or feed on a human, after a while he gave up on trying to convice her to do it and just let her stay with them. Since they probably were together before and even though feelings may have changed between them, he still feels as if "she belongs to him" so-to-speak and does'nt want her around michael. And also The whole point of david getting involved with michael was because max wanted him and his brother and mom to be part of their "family". Letting Star go with him would also lead her to try to warn him about david and what they are planning to do, which would ruin everything.... and that's what I think... :)

maureenepps I think that like Fawn touched on, she probably had no where else to go. There was a book or something written by a novelist... I can't remember what it was. But Star was a just a teen with a troubled past, and she obviously was a half-vampire so that didn't do her any good. She found hope in Michael however.

danniibabe yeah i agree. i wish they did a second movie like strait after the 1987 one called, the lost boys the begining, where it showed wen david, marko, paul, and dwayne were turned into vampires and then later why star and laddie were brought into the family. why didnt they do that? wud of been such a better movie than the crappy lost boys the tribe and it wud of had all the cool actors that were in the first move. es marko (alex winter) he is very sexy

Naomi83 I think they were in a relationship prior to the film-it had just phased out -probably also because of her reluctance to turn 'full vamp'. I think Laddie was turned to keep her in the gang. I agree with dannii-think it would have been good to have a prequel .
