Willie is crazy. I've always thought he got treated too unfairly. He's been killed 4 times in TOH episodes, been fired due to Mr. Burns's oil well, been deported, had his shack destroyed by creamed corn & an "ice-ball", & had a beehive thrown at him. And he still helps other people- he saved Bart from a wolf, he gave Homer the evidence to disprove the sexual harassment charge, he helped dig Bart out of the well, he deprogrammed Homer from a cult, and he saved Santa's Little Helper from being trapped in a vent.

But thats usually how he's funny, especially with his Scottish sayings.
"I said 'make way for Willie', ya bloated gas bug!"

My favorite characters are Moe and Willie, they are definitely the funniest thing on the show.

"Moe Moe Moe! How do you like me? how do you like me? Moe Moe Moe! Why don't you like me? Nobody likes me"

Principal Skinner: "It's Groundskeeper Skinner now"
Willie: "That's 'assistant' groundskeeper you puke!"

Ralph is a little over used, I think - just a little - don't get me wrong. He was way funnier back in the day when his only famous lines were, "My cat's breath smells like cat food", "My cat's name is mittens", and "I bent my wookie."
Lionel Hutz is such a hilarious original character.

Milhouse is like this short little cute thing that I just like for some reason. A lot of the characters are funny though. I may be influenced by the fact that I just watched the season 3 episode where Milhouse gets a girlfriend. too cute :)

Lionel Hutz: Well, he's kind of had it in for me ever since I accidentally ran over his dog. Actually, replace "accidentally" with "repeatedly," and replace "dog" with "son."

ralph is perfect!!!!! he's so awesome that bloodhound gang ( a band i've loved since i was 3 years old and is currently my second favorite) wrote a song about him. i love the "i'm a pop sensation"

Gotta love Ralph! "Principal Skinner, I got carsick in your office." Hans Moleman is a close second!

i cant believe that only one other person picked duffman hes so funny even though hes only in the odd epiosde i still think that he is a much better character than moe for instances the only gd thing about moe is his song that just cracks me up when i hear it but duffmans one liners are just hilarious take the episode where the springfield isotopes are going to move stadium and the manager is wondering where all his customers went and duffman just goes "duffman is thrusting in the direction of the disturbance" or something like that i couldnt believe that when i saw it i just thought it was amazing and i praise the writer who came up with that

i will always be a massive fan of duffman may the writers give him lots more one liners whos with me

Groundskeeper Willie is the very best! He helps out so much and is totally crazy. One of my favorite parts with him was when he heard Bart down in the well and started to save him. Chief Wiggum is probably my second favorite...
