This is my review of a animated show named The Smurfs. It's a popular and classic Hanna-Barbera show.

The Plot:

The smurfs are a large group of blue skinned characters. The leader is Papa Smurf. Smurfette is the only female smurf. There's around 100 smurfs. They're very kind and sweet characters who often learn valuable lessons. Gargamel is a human wizard who wants to capture the smurfs. It's up to smurfs to defeat Gargamel and his cat, Azrael.

The plot of the show is really good for a children's show. It may seem repetitive, but it's charming, cute, and fun enough to avoid getting boring. The rivalry between the smurfs and Gargamel is what makes the show more exciting.

The Characters:

Papa Smurf is a likeable and cool guardian to the smurfs. Also he's voiced by Don Messick who voiced several other important Hanna-Barbera characters including Scooby-Doo, Boo-Boo, Ranger Smith, and Zorak. Smurfette's a adorable character who's so nice and sweet that it's hard to not like. Gargamel's a cool and fun villain. He was voiced goodly by Paul Winchell who voiced Dick Dastardly.

The Visuals:

The show's animation still looks good. The smurfs have cool looking designs. Smurfette looks adorable. Gargamel looks like a unique character.

Overall:

The show Hanna-Barbera smurfs show is a cute and fun show that's worth checking out if you like sweet and enjoyable shows.
