okay, well, i thought the whole Uglies series was actually really cool...considering i read them in a very small amount of time...i'm usually a very slow reader but i read these books in such a small amount of time i completely surprised myself...
it all started when my friend told me all about Tally Youngblood and and David!!!!!(tally and david are like my favs!!!!)she told me about almost the whole first book...she let me read the part about how she threw the pendant in the fire and that was when i was hooked...i knew i had to get the book to figure out what happened so once i got back to my house i ordered it from the library and began reading it the moment i got it. i was happy once i finished it...well not happy about the books ending but the fact that i read the book and found out what happened to her. the thing that i hated was the fact that tally had to become pretty. those couple weeks that i didn't have the next book [Pretties] made me practically go crazy and i knew i had to find out what had happened to tally so i got the next book from the library and when the same thing happened in the ending i went to the library and got the next one[Specials] I really liked the series but once i finished Specials i remember my reaction was like no!!!! i finsihed it!!! because i didn't want it to be over...but then a couple weeks later i got the next book [Extras] and i thought that that one was okay. i definately have to say that i like Tally better that Aya. sorry i just do!anyways that was kind of how i read all the books and everything.
one very interesting thing is seeing the reactions of different people when they see what book you're reading so when i went to school and i would be sitting at my desk i would always leave my book upside down so nobody saw the front cover...very weird i know...then again i kind of am...anyways a lot of different people would come up to me during class and ask me what book i was reading and this one guy in particular who sits next to me made a huge deal about it...not that huge but just trying to be funny and most of the time he succeeds...he wouldn't quit asking me how Tally was and everything. sometimes he would even read over my shoulder while i had my book out. he was so weird yet funny and still he would ask me practically every day how everything was going...i just was really weird but it's still interesting to see people's reactions on the Uglies series and what their oppinions of them are.
