As much as I think that Klaus' "He's your first love" quote was sweet, sounded great & so on, I couldn't help feeling it was wrong... What about Matt? He was the first guy who really respected Caroline & loved her for her personalty, not only wanting her for sex... One of the things that disappointed me the most about Season 4, apart from Silas not being as gripping as he should have been and the freaking cure (won't go into detail because, ugh) was Tyler's storyline.
The first half of the season (by half I mean episodes 9 and/or 10) set Tyler an interesting arc, showing how much he had changed from the d-bag he was in S1. He went from a bully to leader of a pack of hybrids, and he deserved it. He also showed how selfless he was capable of being. Posted over a year ago

Hey, for anyone still wondering why Katherine can't just turn into a vampire again. It's because now that she's been cured, nobody knows whether the vampire blood will have a different effect on her or not. There was only one cure, so it's not like she can test it out on somebody either. And for her to turn, she'd have to die. She isn't the type to risk it all for a 50/50 shot at eternal life, so she'll stay human for a while. Posted over a year ago

Just realized something- vervain lipstick, lip gloss and lip balm. My favorite was totally Klaus! I love him and loved the speach about him being Caroline's last love. I really really hope that the writers make that come true.

Wow, it seems taht the season finale really dived our fandom.
Usuallz bz episode rating people say quite similar things or stay kind of neutral, this time we seem eaither absolutley love it or totally hate it. I must admit I'm so in the loving group!
For me it was the sweetest dreams of every shipper, but in a romanstic, as well as family/friendship way. Damon/Elena, Matt/Rebekah, Ric/Damon, Stefan/Lexi, Bonnie/Jer, the group hug... I even like KC for the first time in my life:)

Don't you think it's weird that they keep calling Bonnie & Elena bff's in the show when the last heart-to-heart they had was somewhere in S1?
Right now Bonnie is eather alone with her problems (poor thing) or Caroline's there for her. Elena is also with Caroline (who will always eventually take Stefan's side) or both Bonnie & Caroline, but never with Bonnie only.

That is why I always rooted for Elena to give in to the whole love triangle. How can she be sure she wants to stay with Stefan for the rest of her life? She’s barely started to live! If she has feelings for Damon, I think it’s important for her to face them, explore them, and learn from them. At this stage, it’s not who’s better for her but what can her character learn from these relationships.

One more thing - I have no idea why Katherine & Tyler put so much effort in running away from Klaus. He talks & talks & talks about getting them, but we never saw him doing a single step to really do it. I stopped believeing a long time ago that he really cares about hurting them. We spent first half of S4 being told how powerful, scary & dangerous tothe whole world Silas is, but since he was brought back to life, noone really cares for him. Everyone focuses on Elena's emotions, Rebekah's wishes, Kat's romance, but does anyone sees Silas as a real problem? The were so much more focused on Klaus' ritual in S2, while it was theoreticaly smaller risk to the world than Silas!
