I'm a bit sceptical about the spin-off. I wouldn't mind Klaus to leave MF - I feel that the writers don't have a clear idea what to do with his character recently, he "overstayed" in TVD just sitting in MF without much purpose other than KC cutness & sexy accent. They could either do something about it or send him off.

I've been rewatching S2 & I must admit that although I still love TVD, it's my favourite show on air, it lost a little magic from back then.
There were no plost hols, short & very consistant arcs, the characters were more believable & you could feel them, being the heart of the show, not only relationships. I feel like TVD are becoming too soapy, and the writers lost clear direction they are heading at.

I've been watching the scenes where Klaus kills the hybrids and Carol way too many times, I can't help it! I should be worried that I enjoy those scenes so much, honestly. I end up with a smile everytime I watch that scene of Klaus killing his own hybrids.

Now about the cure for vampirism... we know that Esther made her children vampires with a spell. Now how did Esther or Ayana know about the existence of the spell? One of my guesses is that Silas was THE first original vampire, and his blood is the cure. Maybe Silas' blood is the cure for vampirism just as Klaus' blood is the cure for werewolf bite on vampires? They were NOT trying to kill Klaus, they wanted to get rid of him so they could be free, but without killing him! If Klaus die they ALL die. So they tried to trap him in Rebecca's body, bury him and leave him to rot. Harley lied and told them she had a witch to perform the ritual! One of the Hybrids even asked where was the witch?
