As a Christian and bible teacher I am pretty well known in many nations. I have done work in Israel, Canada, The United States, El Salvador, India and Ceylon. A question that has come up more than a few times is why I watch The Vampire Diaries so much. "How could you, as a servant of Christ watch that show?"

For a long time even I did not understand why I was so taken by the show. There is quite a bit of blood and gore. And yet...

"So there it is," Damon says to Stefan. "There it is," Stefan echos. "But it's okay, because if loving Elena means you protect her, I'm fine. But I have something you never will...her respect." "Listen here little brother and listen close. I'll only say this once. Yes, I'm in ove with Elena, and no i don't have her respect. But what makes you think your little relationship will last? The big bad vampire issue will come...

"Why would you tell him?"
Damon yelled.It echoed all around the house.

"I'm sorry i didnt know what else to tell him."Caroline pleaded.

"You might as well told him to bite us when he changed.Damon had gotten so mad he ran in inhuman speed toward Caroline witha stake.

"Don't you dare touch her." Tyler said charging at Damon.

Suddenly Tyler's body was replaced with a jet black wolf.It lunged for Damon's throat but ended up biting his right arm.

"AaahUggh."Damon was in pain because of the venom in the werewolves saliva.Caroline herd someone at the door.It was Elena.

"Elena hurry Damon got bit by Tyler."Caroline...

The next morning
Grumpy and irritated Klaus entered Ric’s loft. Even with Tyler dating Veronica, Caroline was still clinging onto her ex-boyfriend. He should’ve never turned Tyler. He should’ve just killed him.
“Nik”
Klaus reluctantly looked up at Rebekah who came off the stairs.
“We need to talk” she said with her hands on her hips. She waited for Klaus to say something back, but he just raised his eyebrows. “You have to tell Stefan what happened in the past. We are losing him, Klaus. Katherine is weaving her web around him and we need to get him out before it’s too late”...

The doctor came outside and Stefan and Bonnie got up. “How is she?” Stefan asked afraid. The doctor bowed his head. “I’m truly sorry” he said. “We did everything we could, but we couldn’t save her”
Stefan lost his balance and Bonnie helped him sit down.
“Can we see her?” Bonnie asked. The doctor nodded. “Do you think you’re able to see her right now?” she asked Stefan. Stefan nodded. “Yeah, I have to” he said and he got up. They walked into the room and shut the door. The nurse was still in there, cleaning up. Stefan walked to the bed and held Katherine’s hand....

Caroline raked her fingers through her long golden curls; blue eyes filled with tears after the sight she had just saw. Damon. Elena. Kissing. It hurt too much to think. She had called Stefan hoping that he could help her but he wouldn't be able to. A part of her knew that.
"Caroline?"
She turned to face Elena; her long brown curls rippling down her shoulders in waves. Caroline wiped away the tears with her thumb, smiling weakly.
"Oh, um, hi!" Caroline chirped cheerfully, trying to hide her depression. But Caroline was a very bad liar, worse than Elena actually and Elena could tell by the mascara...

I swear I don't have any idea how this happened. I'm writing it down on the notebook I begged Damon to get for me, because I think I'm going crazy. The last month has been one of the most terrifying I have ever gone through. I should have never gotten in the damn car. I shall write until I die, and this notebook shall probably be destroyed... but if it isn't I heed you to take my advise. Stay away from the vampires.

I watched season two in a rather piecemeal fashion. I was so disgusted that Damon was the one who loved Katherine for all those years, and she only loves Stefan. As a result I'm rewatching Vampire Diaries and having to fill in the missing pieces. Reading recaps doesn't really do it. It's when I watch the actual episodes I really start thinking about things. And Katherine being involved with Mason Lockwood truly changes how you have to look at everything.
