Rush - YYZ (Live in Rio 2003)

TheCountess Thank goodness the crowds were never this noisy when I got to see RUSH perform! ...and you should see Neil's drum kit up close. I was like 3 feet away from it one time - trying to restrain my oldest from getting at the drums. lol! She was fairly young at the time and claims she doesn't remember that, but I sure do! ...oh yeah - don't know how, but she also managed to sleep right through the drum solo. lol!

remy_46 Yes, I remember you saw them live a few times. :) And when I heard "Test For Echo" on the radio, I had to post it here. I also love their live show from Rio and Neil's drum solo is just incredible!!! It's so much fun with kids, it's great to have memories like these. :) So you don't like noisy crowd very much?

TheCountess I forget who I've told sometimes, or that someone may have read about it in the RUSH club. As for the crowds, I appreciate their enthusiasm, but I'd much rather hear the music. It's loud enough already (usually proven by going "what?" for the next 2 days. lol!), and the band shouldn't have to compete with that noise during their performance. The crowd should save it for when the band walks off stage to encourage an encore - and after the finale. ...at least as far as I'm concerned. I suspect the band wouldn't mind that either.

TheCountess I just got the Live in Rio DVD set a few months back, and not only did they put on an excellent show, but even I can appreciate all the fan appreciation they received during it. (edit was just adding a few more words)
