Harbor Manager: Well Mr. Bodine, now that we're getting more employees, you can go back to your photography company.
S.B: Thank you sir. Glad I could help.
Harbor Manager: So am I.
Jesse: *Blows his horn twice while pulling in with a freight train*
Harbor Manager: We better get out of his way.
S.B: Agreed. *Walks back to the station*
While S.B and the manager went on their separate ways, Jesse's engine blew black smoke, and he broke down.
Jesse: Aw, damnit!!
S.B: What happened?
Jesse: Damaged piston I guess. Can you call one of the engines to tow me to the repairs?
S.B: Let me see who I can find.

Episode 172: Overload
Jerry: *Taking Jesse to the repairs*
Jesse: *Looks at the roundhouse* Hey looks like Mr. Baldwin's having a meeting.
Jerry: I wonder who he's talking about.
Jesse: If it's not me, then I'll be surprised.
Mr. Baldwin: Unfortunately Jesse broke down at Mossberg Harbor. Thankfully his train was still on time, but right now we gotta focus on moving as many of those intermodal containers as we can.
Tabby: Maybe I could give it a try.
Shayne: What? You?
Andrew: If your power was doubled, it still wouldn't be enough.
Mr. Baldwin: Please, don't be rude to each other. I think Tabby could be of use moving at least ten flatcars with loaded containers.
Tabby: Ten cars? No problem. *Goes to Mossberg Harbor*
Andrew: Looks like Tabby's gonna learn the hard way.
Tabby slowly backed up to a short train of ten intermodal flatcars. Each car had two 53 foot containers, loaded with electronic devices.
Tabby: I'll show those diesels that I can do this. *Couples up to the train*
But when Tabby tried to pull forward, she didn't move an inch as her wheels slipped.
Tabby: What?! *Closes her throttle, and tries again, only to get more wheelslip*
Tabby kept pulling her hardest, but her four drive wheels kept spinning, while she stayed in place.
Tabby: *Blushing* This is a joke! *Slipping faster* Why did I talk myself into this?! *Brakes down*
A few minutes later, Jazlin came to take Tabby to the repairs.
Jazlin: *Pulling Tabby* You okay?
Tabby: I'd feel much better if I moved those cars out of here.
Jazlin: Maybe I could give it a try.
Tabby: You could, but wouldn't you have a hard time with the hill?
Jazlin: Possibly, but I wouldn't mind trying.
Tabby: Your funeral.

Jazlin slowly backed Tabby into the repairs. A man walked up to Jazlin while she uncoupled from the PRR Atlantic.
Workman: Mr. Baldwin just called. He wants you to take over that intermodal Tabby was trying to pull.
Jazlin: Funny. We were just talking about that.
Workman: You're gonna have ten boxcars added. They'll be dropped off at Mirage, so Jack can take them to Tracy Station. The ten intermodal cars need to go to the Hunterdon Central.
Jazlin: No problem. I'm on it.
Yuka moved the ten boxcars to the front of the intermodal. After that, she was heading to the yards to refuel. While she backed up to the fueling track, she stopped, and saw Jazlin.
Yuka: Haha, what are the odds? The two pink steam engines of the Eastern Pacific side by side.
Jazlin: Nice to see you too Yuka. *Slows down, and couples up to the freight*
The song fades away
Signalman: *Changes Jazlin's signal to green*
Jazlin: *Blows her whistle twice*
Jazlin's wheels spun quickly, but she couldn't move the train. After five seconds of wheelslip, her second attempt to move the train resulted in 7 more seconds of fast wheelslip.
Jazlin: *Blushing, and sweating as she wheelslips on her 3rd attempt for 8 seconds. Her 4th attempt has another 8 seconds. Her 5th attempt had her move a couple of feet, but her wheels continued to slip for 15 seconds. The pink pacific released lots of smoke, and steam while trying to move her cars*
Yuka: *Watching Jazlin slip again on her 6th attempt* Uh, Jazlin? Are you okay?
Jazlin: I'm gonna move these cars if it's the last thing I do.
After another 15 second wheelslip, Jazlin started using her sanders, but her 7th attempt gave her 8 seconds of wheelslip. The sand was starting to help however. After a 5 second wheelslip, Jazlin tried to move her train again. She finally got the cars going, albeit at a slow pace.

Yuka: *Watching Jazlin*
Jazlin: *Winks at Yuka* Cya.
Yuka: Well I can finally refuel now that she's moving those cars out of my way.
Jazlin: *Going faster* Mirage, here I come.
It took the pink pacific 40 minutes to get to Mirage. Jack was just arriving from Middlesex.
Jazlin: *Stops at Mirage*
Jack: *Stops next to Jazlin, and refuels* Thanks Jazlin. I was worried I'd have to go all the way back to the yards just to get these cars.
Jazlin: *Uncouples from the train* What's in them?
Jack: Toys mostly. Marbles, hotwheels, some action figures, and a few books here and there.
Jazlin: Sounds like fun. *Moves forward*
Once Jazlin moved away from the train, Jack took the ten boxcars off the intermodal. He then proceeded to Tracy to deliver his loads.
Jazlin: *Backs up to the intermodal* At least I can go up the hill with less cars.
Station Master: You got a clear track Jazlin. Good luck.
Jazlin: *Winks* Thank you. *Blows her whistle twice, and moves the intermodal*
Jazlin passed Delta with her train, and saw the hill she had to go over.
Jazlin: I've gone over this hill with heavier trains. I'll be just fine.
As she starts her climb, Jazlin felt the weight of the train slowing her down.
Jazlin: Oh yeah. I got this. *Slips* Almost.
Jazlin managed to continue to the top at 12 miles an hour, but her six drive wheels started slipping again.
Jazlin: No! *Stops her wheelslip* I've already done enough of that at the harbor.
And with that out of the way, she went down the other side to the Hunterdon Central interchange.
Jessica: *Refueling while waiting for a westbound*
Jazlin: Hey Jessica.
Jessica: Hey Jaz. *Watches her train roll past*
Jazlin: *Gently brings her intermodal to a stop*
Mr. Baldwin: *Watching from inside a tower* Well done. I was worried your load would be too heavy, but I'm glad to see you made it.
Jazlin: Thank you sir. It was a difficult start at the harbor, but once those boxcars were taken away, it was a piece of cake.
Mr. Baldwin: I am pleased to let you know that your next assignment will also be a piece of cake. I'm gonna ask you to work with Jessica on moving another freight to the yards near our roundhouse.
Jazlin: As soon as I get turned around, and refueled, I'll get to it.
Mr. Baldwin: Thank you Jazlin, keep up the good work.
Later that evening, Mr. Baldwin spoke to his engines at the roundhouse.
Mr. Baldwin: A couple more days are required for Jesse, and Tabby to return from the repairs, but we will have fewer trains to move. Thankfully, you can have easier assignments until those two return.
Jazlin: That's good to know. I enjoy a challenge here and there, but sometimes it's nice to lay back, and take things easy.
Mr. Baldwin: You said it.
