Ziva is happy they skipped the movie, even though she knows it only confirms what he fears. Tony was right! Since they moved back here, she had only left the house to visit her former employer, once, and to go with him to bring her daughter to school where she sat in the car, four out of the five times. Her anxiety was rebuilding with the growing of her belly. The first week she hadn’t let Tali out of her sight, or even out of the house. Occasionally both of them had companied Tony to visit his father in the nursing home. Now that Senior had recovered and Tali would soon be starting first grade, being absent most of the day, Ziva sat quietly avoiding his stares, loving him for the tender quiet attention he gave her. It had been her idea to have a date night. After sabotaging their lunch out together, she had dressed up to go out for dinner and a movie. Secretly she had arranged for Tali to go to the McGee’s after school. She had put on a smile behind too much make up and clung to his side. She wasn’t hungry at all, except for sex, now that she was well into the second trimester. They had shared a heated kiss in the car after dinner, after which he had driven them straight home to their suburban townhouse. As they lay on the couch, naked, his body lining hers, Tony finally addresses the elephant in the room. As they talk, Ziva slowly decides to confide in Tony what she had kept to herself since the farmhouse was destroyed. She had quickly burnt Eli’s files and notes without finishing reading the last of them. Now she can’t remember what she had read exactly, all she knows is that Eli still has some ‘loose ends’ that Ziva had been unsuccessful at tying up. Orli’s unexpected phone call after their arrival in Washington had dug that all up. Tony listens silently, then suggests she comes to NCIS the next day. “Ducky is in the office this week. I know you love his tea and you can catch up with him.” Ziva turns to face him, gives him a soft long kiss, then commends him “I had forgotten how good and easy it is to talk to I had forgotten how good and easy it is to talk to you. You know exactly what I need.”

The idea is this, name the story+ the author in your comment and I'll put it on the list, but please don't put your own in the comments, let's stay objective.
