You’re welcomed into the theatre by ushers with (London-ly overpriced) Spam sandwiches and are sat in front of a large portcullis. The orchestra start the overture and the scene is set for us by The Famous Historian (Darren Southworth). After a slight mix up with words (I’m not going to give it all away to you!), Tim Curry enters majestically onto the stage as King Arthur accompanied by his faithful servant Patsy (David Birrell).
We also meet Robin (Robert Hands) the dead-collector and Lance (Tom Goodman-Hill), trying to fob Not-Dead-Fred (Southworth, again) off on the cart. During the...
