Twilight Series Article: The pros and cons of Bella Swan

Bella Swan.

The name itself strikes view points from all around;but in this article I'm going to talk about her attributes and her flaws,or as I like to call it her pros and cons.
Bella Swan is one of the most interesting charecters I've met(or read!),but I am just going to get straight to the point.
First,I'd like to say how simply amazing it is that Bella can be so sacirfical.
In the first three books she is torn between Edward Cullen and Jacob Black.
Her first love is Edward Cullen and yes,she is sickly in love with him,but the one she's always loved,maybe even just as a friend that eventually progressed,maybe not (I'm not willing to go into that right now)but still their was at least a glimpse or a flicker of light that revealed that she really did love Jacob in a different way that she had always try to hide.
She is so loving and caring and that is too,amazing.
Now let's get to the hard parts.The cons of this segment.
As you saw in New Moon when Edward left Bella saw life as nothing anymore...just days that passed by,just life going on...nothing to it except nightmares and faded dreams,that's it.
Now you can agree or disagree this is my opinion on this topic.
Yes,Bella should have been sad,mad,or even CRAZY,anyone would be like that if their EDWARD left! But maybe she went a little overboard.What I mean is,she has a slight problem with attaching herself unto people to fast.She only knew Edward for barely a year and yet,her life was gone and there was no meaning to it whatsoever.
Another problem one she admits herself in Eclipse chapter:Monster,she says that she is like Cathy in Wuthering Heights,where she made the two people she loved most leave and she couldn't do anything about it.
Not that she could do much to prevent it but still that problem still is there.
I like rather love charectors who have problems,those problems,as every author knows,really reveals the good things,heroic things,that the charecter does(like Chase Haven in Elfin Magic,link:link oh,wait you don't know yet.Ah,life is a sale).
Back to the point!
Thats why,in the end,the cons of Bella Swan are erased...
with the pros!

ebcullen4ever very nice article.I agree that Bella does have flaws,she isn't perfect,no one is.She is a relatable girl and that's one of the reasons why ppl like her.She is selfless,not selfish,especially with those she loves most. Beautiful article,sweetie.

Bella isn't perfect as Cheri says and that's what makes her more real and more alive! She is perfect in the eyes of Edward and in the eyes of me but she still has flaws I agree with u when she went insane when Edward left but we havnt ever been in her perspective imagine if our first love intrusted us so sincerley with the biggest secret in the world and promised us he loved us before leaving I'm sure we would b upset but I do agree with u xxxx a lovely article thnx 4 posting :)

The final trailer for Eclipse was released earlier today. I'm sure everyone has watched it now. I saw it earlier today and it's finally sunken in. Since I did a review on the first trailer, I thought I should do a review on this one too :)

My overall thought on the trailer? I loved it!
The cinematography, again, is beautiful. More so than New Moon! However, I have to point this out: Like the other movies, there is a certain color tone to this movie.

First off, sorry for the title. Haha I didn't have a snazzy title, so I just made it original.

Now, I would like to point out... I actually liked this trailer! Most of you had probably seen me griping about the previous New Moon trailers saying as how they do not portray the books. (well, the first and second New Moon trailers didn't anyways)

But, I really liked this trailer. Of course I have to critique it, so there are positives and negatives, but overall, I'm a happy sailor... for now. :P
