Mist Paw felt upset. White path looked at her saying, “Begin!” Sun paw leapt Over To Adder Hills and caught a king cobra. He began to stalk a sleeping adder when he felt pinched in his left hind leg. He began to ignore it and he leapt onto the adder puncturing it with his teeth. Sun paw did not feel too good so he trotted to mouse valley before anything else could get him.
It was dawn and the apprentices were trotting over to their mentors. When sun paw noticed his sister, he saw she had only been able to catch a small finch. “Excellent sun paw!” Meowed gray whisker. White path narrowed his eyes in curiosity when he saw a bloody hind leg. “Get to the medicine den, I’ll take your prey to the kill pile.” Mewed white path. Sun paw looked at his leg where he felt the pinching and darted to the medicine den. “Holly tail!” Helped sun paw. “I was bit by a snake!” He yowled again. Blood began to spread in his fur. “I don’t want to end up like lost leg!”
Sun paw was walking around dragging his hind leg to the den. “Woah what happened?” Meowed antler paw. “Snake bite.” Sun paw trotted to his nest placing his head in his nest.

Tanglefur had helped Furzeleap give birth to her four kits. They were Eelkit, Troutkit, Boulderkit and Rock-kit. They wriggled up to their mother. Tanglefur noticed that Boulderkit wasn't mewling like the rest of them. "Boulderkit has no voice!" Tanglefur mewed in astonishment. "Will he be okay?" asked Furzeleaf. "Yes, but he might be teased." answered Tanglefur. At least Boulderkit could purr, growl and hiss to show his emotions.
Smokepaw brought Tanglefur a robin. "I wish I was your apprentice." he muttered. "You can be, one day." murmered Tanglefur. "But not yet."
That night Tanglefur slept peacefully. She wondered what would happen tomorrow...

As the nine journeying cats went home, Kinktail felt a sharp pain in her belly. "I think my kits are coming!" she yowled. Tanglepaw ran over to help her. "Lakeshine hasn't told me what to do about kitting!" wailed Tanglepaw. Brownfern's voice sounded in her ear; "Find a stick for her to bite into. Give her borage when the kits are born. Then let her rest." Tanglepaw followed the StarClan cat's instructions.
Two kits wriggled up to their mother to get to the milk. "Thank you, Vinepaw. I'll call the tom Rubblekit, and the she-cat is Flowerkit." purred Kinktail. I've done it! Tanglepaw thought happily. Brownfern's voice sounded in her ear again; "These kits are not safe. Not in these dark times. Protect them." Tanglepaw shivered. What did she mean?

Ok, I wanna know what is up with Jayfeather and sticks? The cat is obsessed! He first finds Rock’s stick, and gets mad at anyone who tries to touch it. Then breaks it, makes a memorial stick, freaks out when Bramblestar uses it to rescue Briarlight. Then he gets mad at the apprentices who try to get the stick, and when they find the stick, caresses it like a mate. Jayfeather, please don’t copy rock for your memorial. Honestly, RiverClan’ memorial is the best memorial!
