Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? (Quiz) 

I will set aside my pride and admit that my final score said I was only as smart as a 4th grader (8 questions right). :-)

It's good to know that I am as smart as a 5th grader. Yesss!

I will not comment on my grade level. But suffice it to say that it is lower than either of yours (sob) :-(

I passed the fifth grade! Woo-hoo! I'd rate the game higher, but there's no replay value.

This is the basis of an upcoming TV game show hosted by Jeff Foxworthy, and this game is from the official site for that show. Judging by the commercials, they've found a lot of people who don't remember their grade schooling. It'd be interesting to pit those contestants vs. some Jeopardy geeks in a trivia contest...(though, to be fair, the 5th grader questions might not be considered trivia)

So, I accidentally watched the show last night (didn't know it was on, but the TV happened to land there after I finished catching up on Heroes) and there was a computer consultant on. She was having a lot of trouble with the questions (closest star, how many sides are on a trapezoid) which I thought was odd. I missed on how they selected their contestants, but how did thye get bonded for $1,000,000 when the questions are so much easier than, say, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? In any case, she got stuck on how many decades are in two millenia, but did the smart thing and cashed out for $100,000 instead of going for it. What was strange is that somehow I couldn't stop myself from watching the show once I got on the channel...

I'm also curious about how they pick contestants for the show. It seems like it would be really easy for a smart person to win the $1 million - you could just pretend that you're NOT smart. Then, while playing the game, you could act like you're struggling with the questions, use up your cheats and saves, then attribute the rest to luck or something.

I am proud to say that I am smarter than a fifth grader, but on the actual game, they mention topics that i have yet to earn and i am curently in the 8th grade.. It's challenging.

hahah my little cousin played this and we was smarter than a fifth grader. hes almost seven. as for me, i'm smarter, but that's cause im in 9th grade.
